There are not enough adjectives to describe this glorious venue. On arrival, we received complimentary chocs and 2 bottles of red wine. The view from the deck is stunning. Thanks to Marion and James we had a fantastic holiday.
This is a wonderful place for a peaceful getaway. Fully equipped, clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the sound of the ocean and cool breezes in the evening and the lovely sunsets. The full DSTV option is great. We were warmly received by our host and look forward to visiting again.
Chez James is well suited for a couple, the apartment has all the amenities and utensils that one could require. Well situated, has great views and has backup solar power. Comfortable and clean.
It was just one big treat to live in the unit. It is stylish, comfortable and so well appointed. The hostess also makes your life easier with load shedding. One of the best equipped units we have ever lived in. Yzerfontein is so beautiful and we will definitely live there again.
Upon arrival we received a warm welcome. The house is beautiful inside and out and the neighbourhood is perfect for a breakaway!

Beautiful, clean and tidy. Everything one needs. Lovely sitting on the porch. Walk down the road to the beach. From the stoep one has a beautiful sea view. You can see the waves splashing up to the horizon. Sleep with the sound of the sea in your ears.

My wife secretly arranges a breakaway for the two of us. On arrival we were highly impressed with the quality and location of the venue. We were received by a smiling lady (owner) who welcomes us, showed us the flat and wished us a pleasant stay. She also told us of all the interesting places we could visit in Yzerfontein and even suggested their preferred restaurant to eat. The flat had everything you need for self-catering, bedroom was well decorated, bathroom was outstanding with a very spacious shower cubical etc. We had a wonderful weekend and the general ambience of the flat and the beautiful sound of the sea allowed both of us to relax. We will recommend Chez James at Yzerfontein to anybody that would like to enjoy an affordable breakaway in a fantastic venue that are close to the sea.
My wife and I decided to break away for a few days for a work-related task I wanted to focus on. Chez Jemes was ideal for this purpose. The unit is tastefully decorated, had everything we needed and is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting. We will definitely go again!

We needed a break from our busy lives and celebrated our 6th year together. This was the ideal place to stay to do that! Walk down to the sea, have a barbecue on the veranda, or just relax with a book. Marion was also very friendly and helpful and gives you a lot of privacy. She even put out a bottle of sparkling wine for us for the occasion! The apartment was very neat and well equipped. I definitely recommend it to others looking for value for money.
A neat, private, cuddly place where you find rest for your soul. Go for a walk along the sea or sit on the deck and listen to the sound of the water as the waves break on the sand and against the rocks! You hear the chirping of the birds, and there is even an ostrich that grazes by now and then. It's a peaceful getaway with a Kwikspar close enough to top up what you've forgotten.
It's a very nice break with a peaceful atmosphere. The place is very private and very neat.
