Located on the Panorama Route, it is close to Graskop, Pilgrims Rest, and the Hazyview Kruger National Park Pabeni gate, with many waterfalls to visit in Sabie.

Peaceful and safe. Perfect to come and go to nearby sight seeing places.
You need a van to get there, especially in the rainy season and remember mosquito repellent, but really a cute little place. Had a great time. A fan in the cottage would be a welcome addition, but it was very pleasant to stay there.
The unit is small but has everything you will need. The road to get there is not suited for a vehicle with dropped suspension or low profile tyres right now. It's fine for a normal car.
Great accommodation. Heidi was a great host, The Bluegum cabin was extremely clean. Our privacy was never invaded, we were provided with everything we needed and the cabin is equipped with everything one needs. Gates were always locked when we arrived back from our outings, which made us feel safe. To enter the property, one has to enter via a sand road.

The decor of The Forester was an awesome trip down memory lane. The personal stamp stamped there creates a homely atmosphere. We also booked the Waffle for Grandfather of 80 who visited with us. There was no problem for him to move. Gardens very neat and ground is level. The chalets were painfully neat and clean. The owner made us feel safe, especially with the effort of waiting for us to come home before they locked the gate. We had no problem with our 4x4 vehicle on the plot road. Although I think it might be a problem for someone with a very low vehicle. We will definitely visit again.
Decided to book there after seeing good reviews. The decor is a trip down memory lane. We discussed Forester as well as Wattle. Loved the personal touch and the home feeling. The silence was a bonus. Heart people. Salt of the earth people, who welcomed us. They really think of everything. Location perfect. Lots to do in and around Sabie. The road to plot 46 Chilling Thyme is no problem for a 4x4 vehicle. Will definitely visit again.
Chillin Thyme has the basic facilities that are ideal for someone who wants to spend the night there. It's clean and tidy there, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The path on the way to the wooden houses is a bit uneven, but the surroundings on the way there are beautiful..
The road to Chillin Thyme needs some work, vehicles lower to the ground would not fair well there

Heidi and Lauther were the perfect hosts - there when you needed them (and going the extra mile) but never intruding on the privacy of their guests. The cottage was comfortable and well-furnished with all one needs. We loved the travel-related decor and memorabilia in the cottage - it adds a special touch to one's stay there. The accommodation is off the main road to Graskop, just outside Sabie, and I could quite easily (and slowly) manage the gravel road to the plot with my car. It is within a few minutes' driving distance from Sabie - close enough to easily and quickly get to all the lovely restaurants and interesting shops there. If you are looking for country-style peace, quiet and hospitality, Chillin Thyme is the place. This will become our favourite spot to chill out in the Sabie/Graskop area. Thanks Heidi and Lauther for your wonderful hospitality, your kindness and generosity - much appreciated. We also love all the chilli products you have on offer - another reason for a return visit!
We loved our stay. The cottage was lovely. A lot of effort was put into preparing the cottage. Our hosts were wonderful and the location is central to many activities and sights.
Chillin Thyme is well located and there is no rush if you stay there.
It is a lovely place with a nice view. Ideal if you want to experience nature. We would advice it to future guests.
Had a great time at Heidi's place, their place is very neat and clean and did more than we expected, would love to stay there again. They are very central and driving out to places is not that far at all. Would happily recommend the place to everyone.
How will Madeleine and I ever forget the amazing long weekend at Chillin Thyme. Upon our arrival we had a warm welcome reception. Everything was ready and we could saddle up. The wooden house was very clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary wares. The bedroom has 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The mattresses are of good quality for a good sleep. I can happily recommend this place to someone who wants to come and rest from the hustle and bustle of the city to a quiet fairytale Sabie plot. Thank you very much Heidi and Lawter for your hospitality and kind gesture. Well done to Lawter who developed plot 46 so nicely with his own hands. I will gladly come back again.
We would love to stay at Heidi and them at Chillin Thyme again.
