Beautiful place. Will come back. It had everything we needed. The only issue is that when it rained there was a leak. The wall between the kitchen and lounge.
Everything was perfect.
Stay was absolutely fantastic.
We really enjoyed our stay. The only negative I could comment on was that the dishwasher was not functioning. I did alert the team at check-in where we collected the keys, and they were going to send someone around, which never took place. Otherwise, it was great.
The house is spacious with enough open spaces. We really enjoyed the barbecue in the kitchen, had a good time around the table next to the fire and played board games until late at night with a glass of wine. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The rooms are spacious.
What you see on the pictures is exactly it and more! Love the decor of the house and the pool with the nice and cosy veranda. We really enjoyed our stay at Chocolate Seahorse. Will visit soon.
Terribly beautiful house inside and out, neat, peaceful, much more than we expected, everything is right there that one needs in a holiday home. I was very impressed with the service we received, even the security guards were so friendly and we really appreciated their service in the area.
Chocolate Seahorse is incredible and more than what we expected, literally wowed the entire family. We had a great time and will definitely return and recommend it to other family and friends.
The house was very clean and even better than the photos. Everything was available to us in terms of appliances etc. Only small issue we had was that we couldn't locate any WiFi. We felt very safe and loved the fact that it was pet friendly. Very impressed with this little gem, will definitely be back!

Beautiful home, comfortable beds and everything was available. You only needed to take your towels.
However, on the morning of departure no DStv connection and we were constantly bothered by men selling crayfish by looking over the wall.

We had a great time. It's a cute little town with something for everyone. The teenagers would have appreciated WiFi, but otherwise everything was off the books.
I took my Wife, Mother, Mother-in-law, friend and my 3 sisters and the ladies can't stop talking about the place how beautiful and clean it is and worth while all the money spend and so much more they got out of the deal. What an amazing mini break away from all the craziness this year. This is exactly what we needed. Chocolate Seahorse offered us everything we were looking for and more. A very well equipped, fully functional comfortable home making our stay absolutely care free, relaxing and enjoyable. Attention to detail in this home is superbly done. Definitely ticks all the boxes.
The house was close enough to the beach but also next to an open field and parking on the other side of the house. The house did not have an alarm which was of concern to me as the wall is low so an opportunist is able to jump over. The roof made a noise all evening and I was trying to figure if there was a gutter that could catch the water from the main roof onto the flat roof. The water system was the worst for me. It operates on a pulley system which means you have to run the water for a bit on a few taps first in order to get hot water to shower. Even though doing this the front shower never really got hot, just lukewarm. This to me is a waste of water to let your taps have to run so long in the kitchen and bathrooms etc before your shower can get hot. At R2000 per night, I believe that you should have a better water system. The appliances were good.

We really loved the house, there was lots of space for all of us. The house is well-equipped as well. The only issue we experienced was that someone attempted to break in, luckily all the doors were locked.
Very modern and stylish building style. The stoep and patio are excellent, we sepnt most of our time there. The inside braai is a problem, as the smell of old braai meat and fat is unpleasant. It therefore brings down my score for cleanliness. Nevertheless, we had a nice time and we can recommend the place.
Was a weekend getaway for me and my husband and our children who are already out of the house. It is a practical house where every room is such that everyone still has their privacy and can hang out together in the lovely kitchen area. The indoor fireplace was a hit. All that came up short was the toaster. We didn't see an iron either. The boiler's on and off button struggled, otherwise there was absolutely everything we could need. Thank you, it was an unforgettable weekend!

Key- and breakage deposit:
Key- and breakage deposit is payable with the deposit for the booking and refundable by bank transfer within 5 - 7 working days after departure, once the house has been scrutinised and all found in order. Please note that the key deposit will be retained and additional charges imposed if more guests than booked are found to be utilising the premises. Please furnish us with your banking details on arrival. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances unless the key and breakage deposit has been received.
Minimum stay required:
2 nights in low and mid-season
3 nights over long weekends
4 nights over Easter weekend
7 nights in high season
Guests must first visit our offices to check in and get their keys.
