We will definitely use Ciara Guesthouse again. Very clean and tidy and feels like home. Tastefully decorated and the garden is also very beautiful. Conveniently close to the University of Pretoria (Onderstepoort).
The stay was lovely. Facilities were clean and we had everything we needed for our brief visit. The electric blankets were a blessing in the cold weather!

Safe and very peaceful.
TV didn't work at all. It seemed to be connected to another PC and was unusable. There was a lot of noise from neighbors, but it's not always like that and not the owner's fault, so I couldn't sleep. Management is great and apologetic. Will always use the place and recommend it though.
The guesthouse is easily accessible and checking in process was nice and quick. The cleaning staff was friendly. The property itself is nicely maintained with a beautiful garden. We stayed in the Aloe unit looks as it does in the pictures, our gas stove had issues but was quickly attended to.
Friendly owners, could barbecue in the evenings, will go there again.

I booked this accommodation for a couple coming from Cape Town to join a family function. The feedback comes from them. They were overwhelmed by the lovely accommodation, the area, the safety, and the cleanliness. I will definitely recommend this accommodation to others.
When making the booking we did not realise that we stayed here before. We were excited to return to see what had changed. Ciara Guesthouse was always amazing to stay at and certainly delivered once more. The units are well designed and laid out with all that we could need for our 4-night stay. My son absolutely loved every aspect especially the trampoline and even the swimming pool despite it being on the cold side. My son was the first to request that we extend our stay and we were so glad to find that it was possible to stay another night. We all agreed that Ciara Guesthouse will see us many more times.

It's now our "home away from home". It was our second time (only one night), but when we drove in, we felt at home. "Home" as mentioned. I will not sleep in any other place in Pretoria. My situation changed when I originally checked in with them. They were considerate, friendly and helped me right away. I had to move to a bigger apartment because my family also had to go through to Gauteng. I'm very satisfied with the service and they always help you with kindness.
Ciara Guest House is perfectly and centrally located. It's close to everything needed. Malls, fuel pumps, restaurants, 24 hour pharmacy. It's nice and quiet at the guest house as a whole and gives a Bushveld atmosphere in the heart of Pretoria. Very friendly reception as well as all the hard working members of the guest house. Thank you Liesbet! My husband and I are head over heels in love with the place and would definitely recommend Ciara Guest House to anyone. Their prices are not at all excessive and expensive like other Guest Houses in and surrounding areas. Very safe area. We will definitely use Ciara Guest House again in the near future. What a surprise to find such a cozy double storey cottage in the city. Neat, electric blankets a surprise, value for money and the water was always hot for everyone. And a bonus - no loadshedding. Absolute A++ stay.

Place is located in a very nice area. Aloe unit is suitable for a family with toddlers. It is very small for a family with teenagers. In book time was indicated as from 2 hours, but the unit was not ready when we arrived after 2 hours. On returning at 8:00 p.m., there was still dirty dishwater in the sink.
Place was clean and tidy, needs some upgrading, which they were busy with, will have to consider though when to do the updgrading and not while there are guests staying there, like us, although the contractor did stop when I asked him to. Host not very friendly, sort of did us a favour by coming out of the office, we felt it was something she "had" to do and not wanted to do? Maybe it was an "off" day for her.
People were so friendly and helpful. Definitely going to stay here every month if we have to come to Pretoria. The place exceeded our wildest dreams. Was safe nice clean and everything we needed. Even the friendly spaniel puppy came to say hello which we just wanted to take with us just because he was so cute and we love animals.

I was late due to severe thunderstorms we had where I live and the roads were temporarily impassable. I called Ciara Guesthouse and they said it was ok if I was late. Arrangements were made for me to get my room key. I had no problems with my late arrival. The service provided was excellent. Thank you very much.
We had a great stay and will definitely come again, we plan to stay at least once a year in October. The facilities were excellent and everything was as we expected. Possibly the only concern we had was about parking - the sliding gate entrance is very small and parking becomes very difficult when driving in or out when there are many cars. This may be overdone, but may also just be because the units were very full, some people don't park very well.

We had a lovely stay in the log cabin. Everything we needed was there, the heater was an asset to keep the place warm! It's a lovely peaceful atmosphere, it feels like a mini holiday.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The garden is beautiful and the swimming makes the stay even better. Inside the accommodation they have really given attention to detail and made the place so comfortable, it feels like home.
We rented the House but for 4 people. Only thing was that the additional room you could hear the people in the adjoining room. No lid on dustbin which could just be an oversight. Everything has been well thought of. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. Lovely braai area where we could just chill and relax.

The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room and bathroom were spotless with good quality bedding/towels etc. Only thing that bothered me a bit was that there are only 4 TV channels. The location was perfect for our purpose. Very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend the place anytime.
The guesthouse was neat the chalet clean and the area was quiet. Chalet was a bit small. I think it is ideal for overnighting and for business people working in Pretoria CBD which is very close. Our younger son enjoyed it but for our teenager there was not much to do. The pool was green but it seems the owner prefers it that way (to each his own). It was nice and we were able to rest but again I would not recommend it for a holiday. Definitely 3 star and value for money.

Ciara has great potential, but the place needs a bit of a hand. It was also quite dirty when we arrived and we had to clean up a bit ourselves. Our check-in time was 13:00 and we were there at 13:45 when the maid was still cleaning without a mask. Think Covid19 regulations are not fully applied. But overall very nice and relaxing atmosphere.

It was a lovely place to spend the night. The children had fun swimming, although it started to rain later. The children then had nothing to do, because the DStv package is really limited. I suggest you charge R50 more per night and give the people the decent DStv package. There were also small ants everywhere which was reported by the cleaner, but no bottle of insecticide was sent to our house. But we had a great time with the ants.
If you need time out, peace and tranquillity, Ciara Guest house is the place to stay in with friends/family or close one. It's not far from the shops and it has facilities for children to keep themselves busy with. I like the fact that you have a bath and shower in your own space to choose at any given event. Ciara is in residential area which makes it more homely, (it's a home away from home type of environment).
The stay at Ciara's place was reasonable. It did not exceed my expectation. We lived in Ciara House which could do with a face-lift, as well as new bedding in the rooms. Bathrooms are very cramped, and clean towels are not provided on weekends. I think with a little attention it could be a nice place to stay.

Ciara offers a pleasant atmosphere and all the necessary facilities are available for a comfortable overnight stay or even for a longer period. We also received very helpful service and always felt safe. For a visitor to Pretoria with limited knowledge of the area, it is somewhat difficult to get in and out of the suburb, but with modern mobile phones and GPS we were at least able to find directions as well as the address. The church bell across the road ringing through the night has been mentioned in reviews and for guests who typically find it difficult to rest, this will unfortunately remain an obstacle. Overall, however, a positive and pleasant experience and if there was room we would have stayed longer.
The church bell opposite the accommodation promptly peals every half hour! No good night's rest with the sound of the bell in your ears! So loud!

We are originally from Pretoria and have lived in the Cape for 17 years, but also lived for a time in the Moot area years ago. My parents live in Montana near the Wonderboom Airport and we wanted to choose a guest house close enough to visit them, as well as my other family in Gezina. Ciara provided everything we needed, but also gave us the feeling that we were somewhere far away on holiday with the beautiful wooden lodges. I would recommend and stay there again anytime.

We had an enjoyable stay and were centrally located, close to all the places we wanted to visit.
We found the place to be very neat. As foreigners we found the free WiFi to be very helpful so that we can do our banking and emails. Because our flight was delayed and we arrived late (arranged before hand for entrance), it was quite frustrating to try and get into the unit because nobody was there to help us. Thank you for a nice stay.
The lodge is close to the hospital, which we were looking for, so that's a plus. The garden is well maintained and the houses outside are beautiful. Inside it is very morbid and the linen and towels urgently need to be replaced. The atmosphere inside is dark and morbid and generally there is a sense of uncleanliness. The building is not soundproof at all and the neighbors' conversations can be heard verbatim. The floors creak unbearably much and the upper level was extremely dusty.
