Received very hospitably and accommodation met all our requirements. Already mentioned that attention should be paid to swimming pool in summer.

Yes, thank you. All that bothered was that there is no limit in quiet time, and because the rooms are very crowded, it was quite annoying.
Be calm and quiet. Unfortunately the air conditioner did not work. Was disappointed as it was stuffy. No privacy to dress. Everything is open plan and the en-suite is very cramped.
The entrance door did not properly close. The advertised picture of the place is from the house adjacent to the room. Absolutely no access to that. It was very noisy from other people staying there.
Wasn't quite what we expected, pictures looked and displayed better. Kitchen is there, but only the necessary and nothing fits together and not very tidy either. Parking inside only for 2 vehicles, the others must park outside the gate, with no security at night. Wi-Fi didn't work either.
Nice warm environment kept cool by a lovely lounging pool. Lots of tranquility created by greenery and absence of "background noise". Rooms kept cool by AC. And devices still operated during loadshedding. Lieze very helpful and always available.
Liesl was a friendly hostess. We ordered breakfast, which was enjoyed in a quaint little kitchen. We had a wonderful experience overall.
We were well received and our room was ready. Parking on the site is somewhat limited and 2 rows of cars have to stand close and behind each other which makes it awkward to take something out of the car or if you want to leave early. Otherwise a nice and clean place to stay and would definitely recommend!
Not much to say as we were tired after work. We will use it when we need to work in the area.
Place is run down and filthy. It was a terrible experience.
Managers nowhere to be found on arrival, another guest helped me find the keys and room. The floor was grimy, blinds had a cake of dust and all windows were closed - a mix of cigarette smell and mould, especially in the bathroom. My colleague had a mouse in her room that kept her up. At least the bed was comfy and linen was clean. The facilities are basic but fine, there is just a lot of improvement needed on cleanliness.
Bathroom dirty and full of cockroaches. The website really does not reflect the condition of the place.

Comfortable room. Communal kitchen makes it a bit difficult - a small microwave in the room would be better. Could due to load shedding does not "ring open" the gate, but other guest were helpful in letting us in. Otherwise very comfortable.

Good parking away from the street, the room has a fridge, air conditioning, full DStv and it's quiet. WiFi worked pretty well with a laptop.

Fantastic reception. The location is great and the host and hostess went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We also tell about the possibilities of the town and surroundings. Great recommendations made about places to eat and excursions.
The venues was overbooked and by that I am guessing they are well liked. The staff went out of their way to ensure that I was taken care of and all my need and more attended to. Kudos to Jaundre, he was absolutely amazing.

Received a very friendly welcome, was shown accommodation, slept in a quiet and peaceful and safe environment. Took the opportunity to visit places in the area and visited beautiful places. Motivated to visit again in the future. Room for three persons a bit small but for the accommodation it was good. Everything was neat and clean and except for the broken bathroom light (which received attention within seconds) everything was fine and we thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

Pleasant, private, cleanliness good. Price was fair. One kitchen for 5 rooms, but not equipped with gas when load shedding arrives.
It was nice but couldn't even chop wood, then that's a problem, I mean we didn't go to make noise, but to relax and have a good time. Next time put down what the rules and regulations are, don't just express certain things. Other than that everything was okay. Please don't lump everyone under one roof, because not everyone makes noise, some just want to be quiet.

Was a bit skeptical when we drove into town, but when we got to the guesthouse it was like a different world. Quiet, clean, neat and peaceful. We couldn't find a place in Clanwilliam and had to find a place close enough to drive back and forth for WP Erica netball. Booked a week in advance and everything worked out nicely.
We only stayed overnight but were received with clean, tidy rooms with air conditioning. Friendly service and very nice barbecue and meeting area. Will definitely stay there again.

I have stayed here twice. Found the accommodation very good clean, accessible beds were comfortable and everything I needed for a stay in Citrusdal. Barbara the manager was most helpful and pleasant and I would again stay there if I go to Citrusdal.

We had a fantastic weekend, because we love peace and quiet. The place is very near to shops. Pity the swimming pool was out of order and when I went to have a look a gentleman asked me "soek jy iets?". We looked forward to spend time in the pool as it is advertised on the site, but it felt like the gentleman on the other side of the fence owns the pool.

The rooms were nice, bathroom a bit small, the main attraction was the pool but when we got there, the pool was green and we were told that the pump was broken and they got it fixed. We were unfortunately not able to swim. The kitchen is shared, makes things a bit uncomfortable with carrying things between the kitchen and the rooms.

The accommodation was neat and clean. We just didn't like the kitchen that we had to share with the other guests. It was located in a quiet area and the security was good.
It was freezing cold at the weekend and the aircon didn't work properly. We froze. Along with that, the toilet leaked and it didn't flush properly. The extractor fan is also incredibly noisy and was full of dust. We had to drive a day earlier than planned, but in the end I did, because I wouldn't want to stay there one more night.
Reception was professional. Rooms are clean and comfortably furnished. Is recommended.
If you are looking for a place to just sleep because you want to explore the area this is the perfect place to stay.

We spent the night comfortably. It was only the flies outside when we were grilling that bothered us. The woman on duty was very friendly and helpful.

The location was wrong on Google Maps. We had a peaceful stay. Facilities were good and tidy. Only one drawback is that the noise from your neighbors can be disturbing.

It was very neat and clean. However, the cold tap in the shower did not work and there was no soap, 'hand wash' or 'body wash' (neither in the shower nor at the sink).

The guest house is in a very quiet and safe area. It was pretty clean and everything was in place. The kitchen is well equipped. We will stay there again and are highly recommended.
We only stayed overnight and arrived around 9 o'clock in the evening. We did check in earlier. It was nice that they could check us in around 10 o'clock in the morning, so we could enjoy the golf day in peace.

Small changes in the room will be recommended. Although the advertisement states DStv, there are only limited channels and an "outdated" TV set. The mirror in the bathroom needs paint and maybe there could be a few hooks for clothes etc. will also be handy.
We were not welcomed in a very friendly manner. We were also not shown around the premises. WiFi is advertised for the establishment but there was non available. In future they should welcome guests in a friendly manner and show them around the premises. It would also be welcomed to be made aware of facilities that are available to guests.
No soap in bathroom. Old squeeze hanging in shower. Mold between tiles on wall. Toilet drips drip all the time. Not the same pretty picture in photo. No one responds to bell, owner had to call to open.
The bed was as hard as a rock. Someone's old sponge was in the shower. The one tap was completely loose and unusable. The kettle was very dirty on the inside, I didn't even use it.
No place to stay for a family with kids. There was no space outdoors, the driveway was the only place and full of parked cars. A few (wild) cats and dogs roaming around that you do not want around kids.
