I don't believe boutique belongs in the name.
I spent the night in a dilapidated room with a flat bed and ice cold shower water.
Too much noise, couldn't sleep.
The lights shine in through the door, nothing in front of the door to keep light out.
Hotel maintenance is lagging behind, bedding below standard, air conditioning not working, TV remote control needs to be replaced, no soap or shampoo available.
Unattended room was still dirty at 18:00 in the evening on arrival.
Limited TV channels, even though the information booklet states various channels available. TV is positioned very high on the wall which makes watching very difficult.
My preferred place to stay in Bloemfontein, centrally located, clean and tidy with a delicious breakfast. They also accommodated me earlier than my check-in time when I inquired about it, thank you very much for this.
Maintenance needs attention! The TV wouldn't play, the only light in the bathroom didn't work, the one blind wouldn't open. Part of the shower head was missing. The coffee machine wouldn't work properly because there was instant coffee instead of beans. The breakfast was nice.
Second time we stayed at City Loving Boutique Hotel and we will definitely be back. Very neat, clean with all the facilities you need. They make a "mean breakfast" as the young people would say.
The service upon arrival was very friendly. The parking is safe and the location of the hotel is close to Gray College. The room was neat and clean. Breakfast was delicious. I had a very nice stay, thank you.

We were impressed with the so-called Executive Suite. Spacious, neat and modern. We were disappointed with: no porter or help with luggage; style open staircase to first floor room. Open toilet in bedroom; no light above sink and mirror; breakfast service was slow and substandard, toaster didn't work and waiter had never heard of a "poached egg"!
The hotel room was dirty and full of dust. The place needs attention and a cleaning service. My husband woke up with insect bites on his body. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
The reception was friendly and efficient. The sleeping facilities were comfortable and convenient. The layout of the family unit was refreshingly different - with a large bathroom and a cute "kitchenette" including a delicious coffee machine. The breakfast was tasty, fresh, we were all very happy with our choices! Very good value for money - we will use this hotel again.
It was the first time we stayed over in Bloemfontein and it was really a great choice! Great location, close to the N1 and Mimosa Mall. Accommodation and room were clean and neat with safe parking and delicious breakfast as bonus! They will definitely see us again!

Hi, the service was good. The only thing that I was not happy about is the heater that was not working and Bloem is cold.
Beautiful place. Shower faucet something to get used to. Hair dryer in room unusable because round power plug can't plug in anywhere. Loose fitting plugs are carried away and she has no one available to put on a three-point plug, according to the receptionist.
It is the ideal stopover and is more than suitable for longer stays. Neat, clean and friendly.
Excellent location for work in and around Bloemfontein, even for through travelers. Exquisite accommodation in a good neighborhood with safe parking. It was VERY hot in the whole building, the corridors almost unbearable and room was not air conditioned when we arrived.
Modern building and rooms, very well located. The place is just a little small, there is no bath, and they don't have a liquor license for hard liquor either.
The hotel is neat and service is very good. We were disappointed that the kitchen was closed for dinner.
