13 guests' feedbackWith arrival we witnesses the house had a lot of notes/rules printed everywhere in the house for us to read and it made us feel uncomfortable.
Bad start to the weekend we've been without electricity the first couple of hours. But we were sorted later. Not a good start.
Owner has posted rules everywhere and it takes half the holiday spirit out of you! The unit was also not very tidy, dust on blinds etc. There was no lighting outside either! We booked accommodation for 10, but there was accommodation for 9. So all in all not very satisfied!
I stopped counting at 93 dos and don'ts. We were there for three days but had to buy R190 worth of power which is 100 units of which we didn't even use 30 units. The people in the resort are unfit. If you break something you pay, but everything is glued together with "masking tape" or attached with "cable ties". The servant's R450 must be left for cleaning but no dirty dishes may be left and if you have grilled you must clean the grill yourself. You can only enter through the back door because the front door cannot open at all. I was very disappointed with the stay.
It was fantastic. Our house was beautiful and very clean. I will definitely stay at Seaviews again. It was so nice to wake up with the sound of the sea and the guinea fowl. The place is really safe. Wish I could have stayed longer.
We really enjoyed it. There are just a lot of rules stuck up. Everywhere you look. And that you have to charge your own power is ridiculous.
There was everything we needed, and the activities inside the complex for the kids are a bonus for sure. We had a great time despite the many rules - it just makes you a little nervous to look into them every now and then. I would recommend putting in air conditioning.
When you turn around there's a line taped somewhere, you almost feel like you can't relax. We stayed there for 10 days. In the kitchen there is an ash bin without a lid (lid broken off). The kitchen is small so the ash drum is right under your nose when you cook. It was reported the first day and the owner would tell the cleaner. We then also note that in Nov 2013, a year back, the ash drum was reported - so after a year nothing has been done about it. We assumed the ash drum was going to be replaced, at the end of the 10 days I was still cooking around the open ash drum. The DStv broke, it was reported to the owner and nothing was done about it, so for half of our stay there was no DStv.
Beautiful complex. Close to everything in Jeffreys Bay.
We had a nice stay. The people are friendly in J-Bay. There is purchasing power; you just want to know how much ahead of time, so you can budget for it.
Secure complex, neat clean unit. Ideally located.
The owner was very helpful. Well priced.
Had a great stay, and we would love to use the accommodation again.
