15 guests' feedbackThe unit is ideally located and has everything you could need. Large lawn in the complex and a swimming pool so that children can play. The hostess is great. She gives thorough instructions about your stay from check-in to check-out. There was even a treat in the house upon our arrival. We as a family really enjoyed it and would definitely like to stay there again.
On the canal, sea view, beach, fishing, restaurant as walking distance. Hear the waves and seabirds. Nice on the deck. Swim in the canal and in the pool (nicely clean).
Just before we arrived we were treated like 'royalty'. Susan's personal prior communication regarding what to do on our arrival was very pleasant. As soon as we stepped in, we could see that effort was being made with their guests. The place was very neatly cleaned and has everything you need on holiday for self-catering. Our children love the canals in front of the house and used to sail on the canoe every day and catch and release fish with their father. The Smart TV and access to WiFi was a nice extra bonus on days we wanted to stay at home. The beach and 2 restaurants are within walking distance from the complex. The tumble dryer and washing machine also added extra pampering. We will definitely visit Claptons 28 again. Many thanks for the hospitality and extras Susan. We look forward to visiting again.

Only intended for husband and wife, not if you have children. Children cannot play in the pool or play with a ball, even if it is a plastic ball. I was a bit disappointed with the caretakers who certainly never had children. The unit only had YouTube and Netflix.
Definitely a damp issue, which may be due to the proximity to water. The load shedding was excessive, and there is no alternative cooking method. A drying rack would be very useful.
Beautiful surroundings. Had a wonderful time. The hostess was one in a million. Just had a wonderful stay there.
The unit is perfectly located with a beautiful view of the sea and the marina itself. Well equipped, neatly clean and comfortable with Netflix for a late night movie. Definitely the ideal resting place.

It's an amazing place to stay with a breath taking view and easy access to the beach. The apartment it lovely, cosy and feels like home.

Only 1 vehicle per unit, please make sure to make arrangements for another if necessary.
The rules of the complex are inside the unit and must always be adhered to.
- Under no circumstances may there be a party or social event in or outside the unit.
- The unit is in a Complex and therefore no loud music after 22:00.
- If the rules are not adhered to, you may be evicted or fined as per Clapton's Beach rules and regulations.
The unit is self-catering, therefore you have to bring the following: swimming towels, toilet paper, bath soap, washing powder, etc.
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
