When looking at the photos on a website, you are always worried about whether you'll actually be getting that beautiful photo spot, and at Clarens Cottage 2 this is exactly what you get. It's clean, the service of the agent, Lizette, was incredibly clever and friendly. The cottage is centrally located so you don't have to drive anywhere, you can walk wherever you want to be in Clarens. We will definitely stay there again and I will recommend it anytime.
Clarens Cottage 2 is excellent accommodation! Everything one needs is already there. Tasteful and cosy. Lock-up garage is a bonus. There may just be more hooks or rails in the bathroom for towels.
The only problem experienced was the drain in the shower of the one bathroom was blocked and the shower door leaked.
Beautiful place! Lizette's attention to detail is perfect! Looks just like the pictures. Smells delicious inside from the first moment you walk in. Quiet location and beautiful view of the mountains. Would definitely recommend her place to any traveler.
It's a wonderful place. We just feel with the terrible heat we definitely missed fans or air conditioning.
Although we only spent one night there, it was comfortable, a lot of establishment's require more than one night's accommodation. We had a good night's rest, good facilities and a great overnight.

Loved our stay! We were two couples, and the two bed, 2 bathroom was very very comfortable. Full DStv made it easy to relax. We were kept informed about where to get keys, directions, contact numbers, etc. it was very neat, clean, modern but at the same time old cozy feel. We loved it!

Had lovely stay. Just one recommendation: security gate at the front door since we wanted to leef the front door open but we were afraid because we were only women. Otherwise the place is well equipped and has a great location. Communication between us and the lessor was good and quick and we had a great time. Wil definitely book again.
Location just outside the busiest part of town if you want some peace and quiet, but close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Everything you need is there. Real value for money. White cotton bedding and down feather duvets one can only dream of. Can be recommended.
The geyser was not turned on. There was no emergency water supply when the town's water was cut off. There was no 2 point plug for the electric blanket.
