All beds are fitted with electric blankets and the unit has free-standing cooling and heater fans. An infant camping cot size 660 x 940, complete with bedding, is available on request. Digital strong boxes are located in both bedrooms for valuables. Hair dryers are also available in both bedrooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with stools, and tea and coffee are provided. The dining area has seating space for 4 people, while the lounge has a comfy couch and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with DStv Premium. Wi-Fi is included. A fireplace enhances the atmosphere for those chilly nights.

We had a wonderful stay at Clarens Cottage. Lynda was very helpful whenever we needed any help. Perfect location within walking distance of the town Centre. An added bonus was an enclosed backyard to accommodate our dog. Will definitely rent the cottage again.

The cottage is very neat and clean and contains everything that is needed. Dogs can have fun on the safe and fenced lawn. Gravity is starting to take its toll everywhere, and can sometimes affect the cold water supply to the showers. There are sufficient battery lights and candles for the darkness. Would like to make use of WiFi services in the future, seeing that this is our preferred accommodation for away work weekends in Clarens.

It really was a wonderful break with our 2 wofies. On arrival there was a treat waiting for each of us, this now includes a cookie for each of the wooves too! The place was fully equipped and beautifully clean!

Daily service can be arranged at an additional cost.Under no circumstances must pets be left unattended in the guesthouse. The use of the patio with access to the secure garden can be used for this purpose. Dogs are not allowed to sleep on the beds or furniture. A pet fee of R250 is applicable and payable directly to the owner which includes the use of a warm doggy bed, stainless steel food containers, and a leash for that much-needed walk in the Clarens Nature Reserve. Maximum of two small-size dogs allowed. The pet fee is applicable for the maximum number of pets and not per pet.
