Mountain Sage House is a double-storey self-catering holiday home. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the other 3 bedrooms each have a double beds. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor, and 2 bedrooms are located on the first floor. All the bedrooms have closets and dressing tables with mirrors. Each bedroom has 2 duck feather and down pillows and 2 fibre pillows. There are also 2 extra pillows in the closet in each bedroom. There is a spare blanket for every bed in each closet.
All 4 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and 1 of these bathrooms have a wheelchair accessible shower. Two of the en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a bath, shower, washbasin, cabinet, and toilet. While the 2 other en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, washbasin, cabinet, and toilet. Each bathroom has a complimentary hand wash, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, tissues, and double-ply toilet paper, as well as air freshener.
Both the ground and first floor have a communal lounge for relaxation. Kindly note there are narrow stairs winding up to the first floor. There are board games, cards, magazines, books, and a HiFi system with a radio and a tape deck. There is no TV, however, Wi-Fi is free and uncapped.
The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop, oven, microwave, combination fridge-freezer, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glasses for 8 guests. There is also a coffee plunger, electric kettle and toaster.
At the front of the house is a large verandah with a built-in braai, while inside a wood-burning stove provides heat for the cold winter months. There is parking underneath a carport, and the yard is fully fenced with an electric gate. There is also a silent burglar alarm with 24 hour armed response.

My elderly mother stayed there for Christmas weekend. She was warmly welcomed with a sherry and the most delicious snacks were available. The convenience of handrails for an elderly person is worth its weight in gold, thank you very much! All that was a shortcoming for her is the fact that there is no rail at the toilet (actually just a tip). She, and we, will definitely recommend your lovely place to our friends in the future.
The view is beautiful and the house is very tidy. We enjoyed the time and the fireplace was lovely in the winter cold. Just missed the TV during the rugby.

We were a group of 7 people and had a wonderful stay at Mountain Sage. The house is well located - walking distance from the business center, but also slightly on the outskirts so that you almost feel like you are living in nature - with a beautiful view of the mountains. The house is very well equipped and was very neat and clean. The fact that there is an en suite bathroom for each of the rooms makes it very convenient. Highly recommended!

Everything you need and a pleasant surprise is the extras like rusks, coffee, blitz etc. Please don't add a TV. It creates family time, and funny enough, the universe didn't seize to exist without it. Clean, neat and well maintained. Keep it up!
