For the comfort of our guests there are ceiling fans as well air conditioning in every room. There is a lovely swimming pool and a large garden for kids to play around in for hours.
We try our best that guests stay as enjoyable as possible and are personally responsible for your needs. Breakfast is provided on request and guests can enjoy dinner at various restaurants in Hoedspruit.
We are conveniently situated close to the Reptile park, Maholoholo Rehabilitation Center, Kapama Breeding Project and many others.

Onia was a wonderful hostess. It felt more like staying with family than an impersonal guest house. We really enjoyed our stay at Clivia Cottage. The location was perfect for 2 overnight stopovers. The rooms are spacious, the beds very comfortable, and the huge garden absolutely beautiful - perfect for kids to run around and play hide and seek. And a peaceful oasis for adults after a long drive.
The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. The rooms were neat and definitely met our requirements. The garden is a real loop court. It was a lovely getaway weekend. Sunday breakfast was delicious and exquisite.

How nice it is to find a place easily, because there are signs everywhere, people are friendly and helpful, nice accommodation and everything you need for an overnight stop or stopover for business.
Clivia and the hostess Onia were just what we needed after a long hot road. The beautiful cool gardens and the swimming pool gave pleasure. The lights for loadshedding were also a big help. Would really recommend it.

Onia, the hostess, is very nice. She went out of her way to make us feel at home. The room was neat and the stay was absolutely wonderful. The scenery around the rondavel is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the veranda and appreciating the beautiful garden.
The peace and quiet were wonderful with only the gentle squeak of fruit bats at night and the call of the purple-crested turaco in the morning to wake you up. Everything you need is available in a very practical room. Hospitality, coffee and breakfast were great!

Clivia Cottage was a great treat for us and our children. It was wonderful on the farm, Onia and Braam were so friendly and the children really enjoyed the large, open garden with dogs and children. It was nice to walk a little in the morning and play with the goat lambs. Our hearts long to return to the farm.

Our accommodation was in a very spacious rondavel. Double bed and 2 single beds. Good quality mattress. Enough blankets. Fan and air-conditioning. Shower and bath in bathroom! Lovely garden. Kind, hospitable owner. Enjoyed accommodation very much and can definitely recommend it.

The most friendly reception ever, even if we only checked in past 8 at night!
My guests from Sweden really enjoyed the farm and garden and swimming pool and had a great time on the veranda after cooling off in the swimming pool. The boer goats and many lambs were also special. Onia was an excellent hostess and we had a delicious breakfast. The dogs were just as friendly and enjoyed hanging out with us on the porch.
We were on our way to the Kruger Nation Park via die Phalaborwa gate and Clivia Cottage was very conveniently located to help us enjoy the trip.

The farm is beautiful and we felt right at home, with all the dogs that welcomed us. The owners are very kind, friendly and warm people. The apartment was very neat, and everything was in place. The bathroom is nice and big, and the fact that there was a bath and shower was a bonus. The breakfast that Mrs Van der Merwe served us in the morning was delicious, we enjoyed it very much. I will definitely stay there again if I travel in that area again. Recommend Clivia Cottage to anyone.
The rooms are very comfortable and tidy and in a beautiful garden. The owner made us feel right at home and the breakfast she served was delicious. We will definitely stay there again.
Unfortunately the owners were not there. They wanted to cancel our stay, after we paid all the deposit. Then arranged with them that we could stay there (even they weren't there). The dogs barked all night (next to our window) and we slept very little. The place is nice, but the arrangements were bad. We also had to pay the full amount even though we didn't even eat there. I will not stay at Clivia Cottage again.
