Misty Peaks Cloudlands is a beautiful 4-bedroom home located in Bergview Estate in the central Drakensberg mountains. The garden flows onto the grasslands stretching into the mountains with spectacular views of Cathkin peak and the surrounding mountains.
This spacious home can accommodate up to 8 guests at a time and includes 2 full family bathrooms. All 4 bedrooms are furnished with queen-size beds dressed in percale cotton linen. Bath towels are provided.
The main living area features a spacious open-plan design with a kitchen, dining, and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave,2 fridge-freezers, cutlery, and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. A dishwasher and a washing machine are available.
This unit also features an 8-seater dining table, a lounge area, a large fireplace, and a Smart TV with Netflix. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi and the house includes outdoor braai facilities and a firepit. DStv Stream is available on the TV however guests are required to enter their own credentials to be able to watch.
The area is safe and secure and children can play while their parents relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Zebra are frequent visitors in the garden and are quite tame. Activities in the nearby area include golf, horse riding, canopy tour in the forest, hiking trails, helicopter flights into the mountains, amazing birdlife, zip lines, restaurants, shopping centres, hotels, rivers, and waterfalls.

Misty Peaks is a lovely place to stay, all is advertised and the host is great. We had lots of fun during the stay in this beautiful area. Can definitely recommend and we will be back again in the future.
We enjoyed our stay at Misty Peaks Cloudlands. The house is very neat and clean with a lovely and warm interior. Kevin is a wonderful host and he kept us in the loop all the way. We were fortunate to be at the Balloon Festival and had a lovely hot air balloon flight. If the area and view are both beautiful, the house is lovely and warm, the company is good and happy, then the heart is at peace and filled with love. That is what we had this long weekend!
I really enjoyed my stay at Misty Peak Cloudlands! The setting is beautiful with a big garden, great views of the mountains, and zebras and bush buck as frequent visitors. There is also a hiking trail starting right in the back yard. The house is very comfortable with everything you'll need. Super comfy beds. Kevin is an extremely helpful and considerate host. Highly recommended overall.
The house is in a stunning setting with all the amenities you need for self-catering. The host was very helpful and professional. The house is very clean, comfortable, and perfect for a breakaway with family. The house has an inverter to keep the TV and WiFi going through the load shedding, which is a win when you have teens in the group!
Very good choice! Excellent location with great views and walking trails from the house. The house is fully equipped with even a dishwasher and washing machine. Cleaning services are also included.
Misty Peaks Cloudlands is a beautiful, spotless, well-equipped home. You have a direct, uninterrupted view of the mountains and easy access to hiking trails. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. Kevin is an excellent host. We wish we could have stayed much longer!
Misty Peaks has an excellent view of the Drakensberg. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the beds and bedding are comfortable and warm for the cold days and nights we experienced. The house is spacious and comfortable for a quiet visit as a large family. Zebras graze in the garden and the mountains peek through the windows. Kevin is a courteous host who welcomes you and looks after your interests. We would definitely like to stay at Misty Peaks again and would recommend the place with confidence.

Cloudlands in the Mountains turned out to be more than I expected. The house is well-equipped and looked after and the lounge is perfect for relaxing around the fireplace with friends and family. The location and scenery were ideal and we will definitely be back.
We had a great stay, the house has everything needed for a week's stay. Kevin was very nice and helpful. The fact that the house is cleaned every day is a bonus.
