We really enjoyed our stay, the house is equipped with everything you need. It is nice and quiet. The porch outside is so comfortable that we spent a lot of time there, and the aircon in the rooms is a big plus, as is the dishwasher and washing machine.
Club Marine is a beautiful, relaxing place.
We enjoyed the tranquillity at the resort. It is the perfect spot to break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The views were spectacular and everyone around the resort was friendly. I will definitely recommend anyone to visit the resort, it is a bargain and great value for your money.
The place was peaceful and had all the necessary appliances. Bonus having AC in all the rooms.
Our stay at Club Marina exceeded all expectations. Everything was perfect. The house is really fully equipped with everything you need. We also want to thank Franklin, the owner of the house, for all the effort he made to make our stay as comfortable as possible, especially after the heavy floods in April 2022. He spared no expense and effort to make the renovating the house for his guests.
It was very nice. Neat and clean. Very safe with friendly people. The short dirt road was just a bit bad but it is definitely worth the drive for the beautiful place and incredible view over the natural beauty of that area.

Beautiful surroundings, just a shame we couldn't swim because of Covid! The aircons and other amenities in the house make it a fantastic place to stay.

The place is safe and easy to reach.
We were called hooligans by the owner. Residence also complained about noise while renovations was happening next door.
This house was simply fantastic. There was so much more than what was mentioned in the original description. The house is full of books, so if it was raining you could lie down and relax by reading a book. There is DStv. The Marina Club has security so there is no reason to fear crime. Over the holiday periods the swimming pool is the hub of activity, with dances, games and competitions. It is 30 minute drive at the most from everything you need. To sum it all up, it is like home. The cleaning staff is professional and trustworthy, believe me, I tested them by leaving money and cellphones lying around, and when I came back it was always there. The braai facilities is exceptional, especially the AVON gas braai. There is of course a normal wood/charcoal braai, but we never used it. Last but not least; the owner Frank is only a phone call away. To sum it all up, we spend more time at the club and pool(which has braai facilities as well) than at the packed beaches.There is also a small shop inside Club Marina for ice, milk or most things you forgot to buy on your way back from the beach.
The customer service and communication was excellent. The house was clean and fully equipped with everything you could ask for. I would stay here again and would recommend.
Club Marina offers all the facilities one needs for a comfortable holiday. The living area, porch and bedrooms are spacious and therefore comfortable for a large family. Unfortunately the river wasn't flowing so that took away the whole idea of "being by the water" - keep that in mind. All facilities we used in the complex were the swimming pools, which were clean and tidy. The children really enjoyed the slide by the small pool.
The accommodation itself is wonderful, but is too far from everything we were looking for and had to drive a lot to go to a safe beach such as Scottburgh.
We enjoyed it very much. It was a very nice place to stay. The house was more than we expected. The environment is very peaceful and beautiful, the people around you are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely book again and I would recommend the accommodation to anyone.

That house was beautiful! More than enough utensils. Very helpful and accommodating landlord. We definitely would love to go back. Even the staff is so helpful. The office was also very helpful. Customer service is up to scratch. Security staff also helpful.
This was one of the most relaxed weekends away, exactly what my family and I needed. My children loved it and said it was short and wished to have stayed longer! We will most certainly be going back for another stay next time, the home was spacious and very well equipped, simply awesome!
Very neat house, bird life particularly, very quiet environment located in nature, value for money but a bit far from swimming beaches for the children. If you want a quiet, peaceful holiday close to beautiful beaches, I can highly recommend this house.

Hidden gem - simple, homely and value for money accommodation.
Very quiet and peaceful place. Beach and tidal pool is great! It's a pity that the advertised amenities were unavailable such as the restaurant and water slide, especially as that is the reason we decided on the place. The washing machine and dishwasher was also out of order at the time. Issues with water and power failures at the resort.
Shower drain blocked in upper shower and both shower heads were blocked. Dirt road of 1.7 km was not as described and I was there with a motorcycle. On Saturday it rained and the dirt road was slippery. Not suitable for motorcycles at all. Owner was very unhelpful and was bombastic and unfriendly about breaking deposit.
Club Marina is probably one of the best choices one can make for a family holiday. The house was more than comfortable and we are grateful to be part of the nice atmosphere there. Thank you very, very much!

House rules
The TVs in the downstairs bedroom and the large upstairs bedroom are connected to the TV in the lounge and will display the same programs as the lounge TV. Guests are kindly asked not to tamper with the settings or attempt to change them. If any tampering is detected, the cost of a technician will be deducted from the breakage deposit. The TV in the small upstairs bedroom is set up with Openview and is primarily used for kids to watch movies from a USB stick.To save electricity, guests are requested to switch on the geyser for only one hour in the early evening or morning. The box is located next to the downstairs bedroom door. This will provide hot water for the entire next day. Guests should ensure that it is switched off when they leave.
The gas braai is currently unavailable. However, guests have the option of using charcoal in the Weber or the wood braai outside.
The stove oven is not functioning, so an air fryer has been provided for guests' convenience.
Guests are asked to leave the house in the same condition they found it.
This is a non-smoking unit.
Music and other noise are prohibited after 22:00, as there are elderly residents who live in the resort permanently. The resort committee reserves the right to remove any troublemakers.
Guests should keep windows closed when going out, as monkeys may steal food. Additionally, as it is snake season, doors should be kept closed.
Upon departure, guests are requested to take their garbage with them and dispose of it in the container just outside the main gate.
All books and videos are recorded, and any missing items, breakages, or damages will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
The maximum number of people allowed in the house, according to resort rules, is 6. If this rule is not followed, the resort will require guests to vacate the premises.
Additional guests beyond the booked number will be charged additionally per person, per night.
The load-shedding schedule will be forwarded to guests.
The deck is intended for enjoying the stunning scenery, not as a play area for children. It is very dangerous, as a fall could be disastrous. The main rail is currently a bit loose and will be repaired soon.
