The house can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 of which are furnished with queen-size beds and the other 2 are furnished with 2 single beds in each. None of the rooms is next to each other, therefore, providing private space to larger groups. The house has 3 bathrooms, 2 with a shower and toilet each and 1 with a bath and a toilet. There is also a bath in the main bedroom with a view of the ocean and an outside shower.
The main kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, biltong slicer, sandwich maker, Cobb-braai, dishwasher, washing machine, hot plate, tumble dryer, coffee machine and an air fryer.
The lounge is on the lower level and has an indoor fireplace, and a flat-screen TV with access to Netflix and selected DStv channels. Guests can also enjoy the Wi-Fi and UPS. This lounge has access to a large covered patio area with furniture and braai facilities.
The house features a small library and reading room, a small kitchen with a bar fridge, sink, microwave, kettle and small induction stove, and a second large lounge with a TV, DVD and sound system. DVDs and CDs are available.
Attractions in and around the area include the St Helena Bay harbour, the private Paternoster Nature Reserve, the Lighthouse and rocks at Tieties Bay, and the beautiful beaches at Trekoskraal. There are a variety of restaurants in St. Helena Bay and Paternoster.

10 guests' feedbackThe location is great and the house is well appointed. Good linen and towels and the basic necessities are all there. We had a great time and can recommend the place to stay.
As a family (with all our dog kids) we had an incredibly relaxing weekend. There is so much space, the house has everything you need and Coen puts a lot of effort into making sure it is tidy and comfortable. You can really only take your food and drinks. This is a house we will definitely want to go to again, but a weekend is definitely not long enough. We were all sad as it got closer to our departure time. Coen's house with the roar of the waves is a MUST! We even saw whales! Do yourself a favor and go relax there for a few days.
Coen's place is fantastically located, Coen was very helpful with all my questions, me and my Labrador child went for a walk on the beach every day, would really stay there again anytime.
Coen's Place has a great location and Coen is a super host and always happy to help. Attention to cleanliness is required and kitchen cupboards need organizing.
Loved the house and property and the beach is dog friendly.
Coen and Brigette are friendly and accessible. We had a great stay and the house had everything we needed. The house is on the beach with uninterrupted views and it's peaceful and calming. Our dog could join and had the best beach walks and swims!
Coen-se-Plek had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The proximity to the beach and the views cannot be beaten. All in all, it was an absolute winner and we'll definitely be back, and I'll be recommending it to friends
One could not ask for a better spot on the sea. The house is very spacious and perfect for family holidays. Everything you need is in the house and more. Had a great stay and will definitely escape to the area again.
We had a magical stay together with our four dogs at Coen-se-Plek. The property is fenced so we could relax and just let the dogs be. The setting is breathtaking (you could throw a tennis ball onto the beach from the awesome outside braai area) and we were spoilt with incredible weather. The loudest thing to be heard at night is the rhythmic crashing of the ocean. The house easily lends itself to a larger group, but we still had an awesome stay with just two. We certainly hope to be back soon.
Amazing view! Accommodated our 2 dogs! Wonderful view and such a nice stoep" to braai and enjoy with friends. Children could run up and down to the beach by themselves. Sound of waves greets you in the morning and soothes you to sleep at night. Perfect!
