So peaceful, away from everything and everyone, the boys enjoyed themselves immensely at the little pond where they could fish and barbecue. The place is neat, with everything you need. Mari was very friendly and hospitable, will definitely stay there again.
Thank you for the quality bath soap, hand wash, shower gel, toilet paper, bedding, cleaning products, and a sanitary environment as a whole. Thank you for having our family; it felt like we were living in our own world. Looking forward to our next visit.
Beautiful and homely with the sights and sounds of nature all around, not far from the ocean and shops.

The location is fabulous: quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, the cottage is in dire need of maintenance and cleaning. Having to clean the toilet, dishes, etc. before use is unpleasant. Linen and towels are old and stained.

We really enjoyed our stay at Colleen Glen Self catering Cottage. Well furnished. Spacious. Lovely outdoor braai facilities and walk to a second braai area. Beautiful nature surroundings. Highly recommended if you are nature lover.

A great place to get some peace and quiet in a beautiful, serene location.
We were greeted by the friendly owner. Just a concern - the gas stove was not working efficiently and for safety reasons we did not use it at all. Stove plates either dies unexpectedly or bursts out a flame! No alternative electric stove was available.

Beautiful, quiet environment, yet also close to certain beaches. Also close to N1 and large shopping centre. The house has all necessary appliances, but I would still like to recommend that roof fans should be installed. Furthermore, it is ideal for a nice and quiet family holiday.

Best description - tranquility.
We received the key and made ourselves at home, everything was clean and stylish. The shower's hot water tap does not work well, almost no hot water. Something for the future to think about is an air conditioner, it will help a lot.

Brilliant stay, owners very friendly, nice overall experience.
It's a comfortable clean house in a peaceful and quiet environment. Equipment is basic but adequate. Mari kept in touch throughout, and any queries were sorted out promptly and effectively. Good value for money, and ideal if you need accommodation for business/function in PE. Not much for kids to do. Had a nice stay, and can definitely recommend it.

The accommodation is everything one needs for a peaceful weekend away from home. Very neat.
Owner was very friendly. Cottage is neat and clean. Environment is very beautiful. House is nicely equipped. Would be good to have more kitchen utensils available. We were a family with two small children and had family over for a barbecue. Frying utensils, oven trays, salad bowls and pots are not enough. A good idea (something to consider for the future) would be to maybe have things like DStv and WiFi available. It was Springbok rugby and the men would like to watch the game. We had a portable unit but the cell reception was patchy. We enjoyed our time - the scenery takes your breath away - especially if, like us, you are used to the drab drought-stricken nature.
