5 guests' feedbackVery comfortable self-catering unit with everything you need. The bedroom is a "loft" and the stairs may be a problem for some. The owner is friendly and helpful. The lodge is centrally located with good security. Overall, I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay there for ten days.
Tranquility. Area fantastic and will go back anytime, as well as recommend the lodge. Would appreciate the kitchen being better equipped with bowls and braai utensils.
We had a good time at Commalong Lodge, everything was neat and tidy. The only downside was the water issue. This happened two times while we stayed there, the warm water just stop flowing. The second time was just after 3 min in the shower. The rest of the stay was extremely pleasant. Thanks Commalong Lodge for your hospitality.
I would recommend the lodge anytime to someone who prefers a self catering unit.

The kitchens all feature granite tops, and are equipped with a 2-plate stove and oven, a Russell Hobbs microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery, and a 3 pot and saucepan set, as well as a 2-door 226 L fridge-freezer large enough to store almost anything that needs chilling. There is also a breakfast nook with comfy chairs. The lounge in each apartment contains an L-shaped suite, and a 32-inch flat-screen LED TV with a music system and a DVD player. DStv is standard in all apartments and offers more than 50 channels to view. Wi-Fi is available. Each apartment has a covered veranda with wooden chairs and a table.
