The kitchen is fitted with a 2-plate stove, a microwave, kettle, toaster, and a bar fridge. There is a 4-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge area contains comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV with full DStv channels. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. Outside there is a small patio with access to a weber kettle braai facility. Off-street parking is provided.
Guests can make use of the main house swimming pool, which is safely covered with a solid cover when not in use.

I enjoyed my stay at Cone Cottage and would return when next in Cape Town.
We had a wonderful stay with no issues. Host checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed, even had handheld lamps for load-shedding. She stated we could use the braai area that has been added since the pictures. Comfortable and quiet. She was very helpful with wet clothes due to rain and immediately offered the use of the washing line and brought over pins for clothes. Make sure to say hi to the beautiful Labrador that lives there, she is super sweet.
Many details were thought through - eg. a flask for boiling water during load shedding.
Cone Cottage is an excellent choice as a base camp when visiting Cape Town. The Hostess, Karin was so caring and provided a lot of advice on where to go and things to see. The location made it easy to reach our desired destinations quickly and we didn't have to travel far. Gorgeous Jess, the friendly labrador, gave us lots of love!
We felt very welcome there - the owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Will visit the place again anytime and will recommend it to others as well.
The staircase is spiral and steep, hence the lower safety rating. Not suitable for elderly or very young guests - the bathroom is downstairs and navigating the staircase is difficult.

Real value for money. Owner very friendly and helpful.
Well appointed, centrally located from where we wanted to be. We even had a gas bottle at our disposal for loadshedding times. There was always hot water and we could even use wifi from Cone Cottage.
Location was perfect for our needs. Own entrance and all on your own. It was perfect for our coming and going throughout our stay. Cutest place and good service.
Lovely hosts, very comfortable accommodation and well-appointed. Good access to shops, city, Vincent Pallotti Hospital, main roads. I will certainly stay here again should I visit Cape Town.
Cone Cottage is an ideal base from which to explore Cape Town. Lovely, quiet neighborhood with shops for shopping nearby. Als is clean and tidy and there is secure parking. For longer visits, a bigger fridge will help a lot.
Just need a place to sleep, meets all my requirements because we are exploring the Cape.
Nice private cottage only a few minute's drive to a range of well-known Capetown destinations.
