Hans and Sabine were great hosts. They were accommodating to requests and provided assistance when required. The accommodation was comfortable and clean.
What a gem. Was even better than the photos. Really enjoyed our 7-night stay. The owner Hans was amazing, sharing information on the area and recommendations. He made us feel comfortable and was always willing to assist. We were short on nothing. It was our home away from home, a real pleasure staying here and will most go back for sure. Simply amazing and highly recommended.
He did everything to make our stay pleasant and with my 2 busy boys, age 2 and 6 he didn't have a problem. The garden was in excellent condition and the pool always very clean. I highly recommend Constantia Cottages to anyone including those with families.

Sabine and hubby were wonderful hosts. I was very touched when they tried to create a little hedge on our porch so our kids could come out and sit when they noticed we weren't very used to dogs. That was extremely thoughtful and dear. They were extremely hands-on in making alternative stay arrangements for us in their other cottages even though our stay schedule was very unpredictable. Security is amazing and the neighbourhood is secure as we are local, so we know. Kudos to them. Accommodating, classy and diverse. Each cottage had theme decor, giving different experiences. It was thoughtfully set up.

Our cottage was a high-quality two-story apartment with all the comforts you would expect in any upmarket self-catering cottage. It is safe to safe that this high standard is found in all the other units. The hosts were exceptional, and they consistently ensured that we are comfortable and secure. They also extended their warm hospitality to us. The solar heated pool was a great place to unwind and meet new friends/guests.
The guesthouse's location is good and access to main routes is very good. Personal service is basically completely lacking and we never saw the management during our stay. DStv is available, but the sports channels exclude rugby and cricket. Everything was neat and clean, but the appearance is not really attractive. Would recommend it though and possibly stay there again myself.

Although the place is very well equipped, the reception was lukewarm. The television is set up especially for foreign visitors and does not offer the typical needs of Afrikaans speakers.
The studio we spent the night in was beautiful, we had a great time. Hans is truly a good host who takes good care of you.

Value for your money. We were there for a short vacation. Will definitely stay there again should the opportunity arise.
The place is in excellent condition. The manager was very friendly and pleasant. It was very peaceful. We plan to go there again during December 2015 with our children.
We had a great stay and the service was very good. Kitchen could not be better equipped, absolutely great! Bathroom located between 2 bedrooms, problem if more than 2 adults stay there. Very well located, close to large shopping centre, Kirstenbosch and airport.

We arrived earlier than agreed, and therefore missed our host. He was available on his cell phone, and the attendant was able to unlock for us. Two large, well-trained dogs watched us, but did not make a sound or act in any threatening manner. Everything inside was in its place, clean and tasteful. My first attempt to book something (just two days in advance) was unsuccessful and I called LekkeSlaap's office, said in which area we were looking for something, and within half an hour everything was arranged.
We lived well and slept peacefully. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We will use the accommodation again.

My brother and I (both in our twenties) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Constantia Cottage. The hosts were extremely friendly, and the location was safe and peaceful. nnThe only discomfort we experienced was the strong smell of smoke which permeated our room. We were unable to leave the windows open during the day while we were away - as this would have activated the alarm.nnWe did make the hostess aware when we departed and also made a note in their guest comment book. Otherwise, everything else was fantastic!
