Very well-maintained. Excellent location. Central to Kruger Park and the other site seeing areas. The facility is very well-organised and not crowded. Abundance of fruit on the property.
Enjoyable stay and would recommend. Chill zone and pool a hit. Tranquility just what was needed.
We stayed here overnight while attending a wedding at Whispering Thorns. On the day, Gerhard called us to confirm our arrival. He also allowed us to clock in 2 hours earlier, due to the availability of our unit on the day. Gerhard met us at the gate and showed us how the alarm and keys for our unit and the pool worked. The beds were clean and made, with clean towels for each guest. There was a small kitchen that was clean, with cutlery in the drawers and clean glasses and plates. There was no air conditioning, but there were fans on the roof. My friends and I didn't mind at all, but can see some people would complain about it. Furthermore, we felt safe and the night sounds made us feel like we were somewhere in the woods, away from all our worries and city problems! We will definitely stop by here again!

I can highly recommend Cook's Comfort. A fully equipped accommodation unit with a host who received us very nicely. The bedrooms are spacious as well as the view from the veranda over nature is very significant. Our accommodation was pleasant, everything is easily available. You will definitely find me there again next year.
Location was great, big garden for kids to explore. Could do with a better shower head. Bed was uncomfortable and noisy. Living room was not comfortable at all.

The place is beautiful and convenient. There is more than enough space for the kids to play. Grounds are well kept and the peacocks was a lovely bonus!
The shower is not a deal for younger children, hope they add baths on one or two chalets. The electrical fence should be covered by a wall - either brick or wooden for the young kids.
The cost for the accommodation was high for what we used it for. According to the photos on the website, we expected the pool to be bigger and was really only a "splash pool" in which one cannot swim and only cool off. Furthermore, the facilities were very good, and the fact that we had our own poles and darts to use as part of the stay made everything easier. The facilities are really clean and even when we barbecued it was already cleaned early next morning. Unit was cleaned every day at no extra charge which was wow.
