Cooper's Highlands is everything and more. I came for a weekend gateway with my husband and it was lovely. If you are looking for a place to relax and get away from the city buzz, this is 100% the place for you. Our host was very friendly and the cabin was very well thought of and catered to our needs. Beautifully decorated with added personal touch to everything. My only regret was that we couldn't stay for longer.
We had a wonderful stay at Coopers Highlands. The cabin is neat and includes all the amenities one could ever think of, of several more. The hot tub was a hit, and the hammock was hot property while the potjie slowly bubbled away under the setting sun. I could not recommend this place any more!
Coopers Highlands pleasantly surprised us with our seaside holiday in the "bush"! Our expectations were exceeded in more ways than one. The owners are hospitable and know how to look after their guests. I have not yet discovered a self-catering unit like Coopers where so much effort is made to make your stay pleasant. The unit is very neat, tastefully decorated and well equipped with quality utensils. When you're in the woods, you want to at least see something, and we were quite spoiled with the birdlife. We could sit on the porch and watch the Black-headed Wagtails raise their young and Black Sugarbills nest. Green Spotted Doves and Cape Canaries made frequent calls, and the Red-throated Pheasant stopped by every morning. We also saw Red-bellied and Mountain Tortoises as well as Njala's, Bushbucks and Grebes. All that was wrong is that we couldn't stay longer! We already miss the tranquility we experienced at Coopers-Highlands.
