Hosts were open and friendly from the time that I arrived until my departure. Backup lights are available for loadshedding and Wi-Fi is always available.
I had a wonderful stay, the home is near the shops and train station. I also needed adjust my booking dates and the owners had no issue with refunding me.
Spacious rooms. Nice decor. Everything you need when power is on or off. Hostess goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Nicely central to explore the area.
It's a great location. The road can be a bit noisy.

Stayed with them from 03 Aug 18 to 06 Aug 18, just have to give Cosy Vishoek a 5 star rating, the place is clean and you feel right at home. I say home because that is what it felt like, a home from home. The place is spacious and very secure. It can sleep up to 7 people, the WiFi is fast and we had no problems whatsoever. We will definitely recommend Cosy Vishoek to anyone, it is value for your money. Definitely visiting again.
We felt welcome right from the moment we landed. The house is well maintained and is well equipped to relax and enjoy some time with friends and family. We also enjoyed taking a walk to the beach every day and the shops are conveniently close. Definitely a place at the top of our list.
The house had everything we needed for a holiday with 2 small children and their grandparents for a nice family holiday. We could cook meals and braai. We just wanted to stay somewhere in the Cape Town area and have never before been to Vishoek. It is quite a drive to everything that we wanted to do in the Cape Town area, but there is also lots to do close-by. We were pleasantly surprised with the nice beach close to the house. The beach itself was very nice to play and the children even swam a bit on one of the warmer days. We were there at the end of August. There is also a nice play park and a very nice restaurant with a large porch and indoor places to eat on the beach. It was perfect for the children, parents and grandparents. The host, Vian, as well as Jane who received us, communicated very well during our stay. Everything went well. They also had some food necessities ready for us, like coffee, tea, milk, oil and spices, and welcomed us with wine and drinks.
Everything was nice. Only the busy street and the traffic were sometimes a hindrance, otherwise 10 out of 10.
Cosy Vishoek is a comfortable house within walking distance from the grocery shops etc. It is fully equipped for self catering and can accommodate 6 or 7 people in 2 bedrooms (double beds), one with an en suite bathroom as well as a small secluded room next to the living room, with a double/bunk bed. The house is very neat and comfortable en we had a lovely stay. Please note that the house is on the corner of the busy Kommetjie Road and may be noisy from the peak time traffic. It didn't really bother us small town folk and the place really offers value for money. We will stay here again. The service and communication from the owners and supervisors was friendly and helpful the whole stay through.
