The first and second bedrooms are furnished with queen-size beds, while the third bedroom features a king-size bed or 2 single beds. The shared bathroom is fitted with a bath and a washbasin, with the convenience of a separate toilet.
The cottage boasts a well-equipped kitchen, complete with a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, and all the necessary cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living area is tastefully furnished with a 6-seater dining table, perfect for enjoying meals together.
Adjacent to the dining area is a cosy lounge, furnished with comfortable couches and an indoor fireplace, providing warmth and relaxation during chilly winter evenings.
Outside, the cottage offers a garden that leads to a small dam, creating an ideal spot for picnics or enjoying a refreshing sundowner.

4 guests' feedbackWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hostess was super friendly and very helpful. We loved the views, fresh air, and the hot tub was fabulous. The kids loved it. The unit has everything one needs.
Absolutely loved this place. Great cottage, including hot tub with a view, in an absolutely beautiful setting with endless trails, tons of cafes, etc. But also a peaceful lawn and grounds with a tree swing big enough for a nap and relaxing afternoon. Host was very responsive and seemed to know everyone in the area, which was helpful with recommendations for food and activities.
Better than advertised! A rare experience where the reality FAR surpassed the photos and the description. The cottage is ideally located: easily accessible from the main road but far enough that you feel "away from it all. " The pictures don't convey how special the location is, especially the view of the valley and the beauty of the grounds. Within easy distance of Zwakala Brewery, Cheerio Gardens, a cheese farm, and other local restaurants and sites. There are endless hikes through old-growth forests and tree farms. Incredible birdlife, friendly dogs, goofy ostriches, and some wild animals (saw reedbuck and a bushpig). In many years of Lekkeslaap and AirBnB stays, have never had a better host: anticipated our needs, responded quickly when we had questions, and even called ahead to a local restaurant to ensure we were well cared for. My only complaint is that I never saw a porcupine even though I was told "We see them all the time. " I trust the host will get the porcupines to be more cooperative! A tip: definitely request the extra wood and get the hot tub heated early and keep it hot throughout. Nothing better than a hot soak while enjoying the incredible view and beautiful surroundings!
Cold but good. The fireplace worked wonders.
