We really enjoyed the completely enclosed place with our 2 dogs. They could frolic to their heart's content, everything was spotless, nice ice in the freezer, lovely shower, and much needed air conditioning that cooled the whole place. Lovely braai area too. Dirt road may be a bit difficult for regular cars after a lot of rain.

Road to Country Cottage unfortunately impassable when it rains - we got stuck in mud and had to call for help to be towed out - with this our hostess was lovely and extremely helpful despite the early hours, sending help.

Perfect for our family.
We were notified in advance of the key fob's code, but never told where it was. Luckily we were able to locate it behind the pillar after a bit of searching. It's quite a good idea if there is no one to get the key to! The unit is nice and spacious inside and meets everything. There are also 2 shade trees under which you can park your car and the yard is spacious and fenced. We had 4 dogs and they could comfortably run around and stretch their legs.

We were two mothers with 3 small children with us and wanted to break up the long drive from the North Cape to the Cape. Country Cottage was absolutely perfect! Fenced, so safe for the children to play. Child-friendly. Had a great sleep. Nice farm feeling and wonderfully quiet in the Karoo. Nice big shower. Had a good rest the next morning and started the last shift back home.
