We stayed in unit 1, which is separate from the house with our own braai facilities and access to the pool. We were very kindly welcomed by the owner and his wife and don't forget Coco. Perfect area for us because we like to go sightseeing in the area, swim in the sea, play golf. Sardinia Beach, which is 5 minutes drive from the place, is breathtaking with the most beautiful sunset. We felt very safe.

We booked three rooms. Did not get a friendly welcome. Microwave and kettle inside a cupboard - very dark and had to use phone's flashlight to use it in two of the rooms. Room lighting also not very bright. Wi-Fi very slow. Arranged with the owner to check out 15 min late in one room, yet when we got back 30 min before normal checkout, one room was already cleaned and clothes and luggage moved out. We could comfortably have showered in the individual rooms, but then had to share the one room. The shower itself was great, the beds comfortable - the pillows need replacement and the limited TV channels are not ideal. Although good value for money, will not stay there again.
No hot water for shower. Had to take shower in another unit. Sleeper coach has seen better days. Mirror in bathroom covered in dust. No curtains and room sooo light couldn't sleep. Duvet on bed to small. Mirror in room cracked. Ironing board in bathroom. Broken. Braai area not cleaned. Plugs for kettle and toaster not easily accessible. They could have switched on the fridges in both our units. Reception not friendly and very akward.

The walls between the units are very thin. 2nd and 3rd night we had neighbors talking constantly until 5 in the morning and we could hear every word of the conversation. The towels provided are too small.
A bit disappointing. There were roof leaks right above my bed in the room that I occupied. Water dripped on my head whilst I was trying to sleep, I ended up sleeping on the couch. I told the owner about this, he didn't seem too phased. I booked two rooms, the lady who received us seemed highly confused. Only gave me the key for one of the rooms, with no remote. I got to the gate and had to turn back to go ask for everything again. We also didn't receive breakfast. A beautiful area and setting, but not the best experience. We travel for work often, but would not book here again.
They need to update their listing on maps. The current location is not the actual location. And it was difficult to make contact with the host.
I don't think I booked the room at home. The roof's paint falls on the table and the table is propped up with a stone at the bottom. The wall plug comes completely loose. The bed rattles, springs, not a place for a good sleep.
I was received by someone else, not the host. Asked was nowhere visible. Bed was awful. The bathroom was totally wet after taking a shower ( no shower doors or curtains). Cracked mirror screen. I had to take a shower with cold water. Dirty muggs. I will never return there again. The pictures are stunning, but what we saw was different.
There were dogs loose in the yard and I am very afraid of dogs, we did verbalize this to the host and ask if the dogs could be put away but we were told that they would not bite (they did not bite) but it was just unexpected.
The fact that there is no door or screen at the bathroom makes it terribly uncomfortable if you e.g. not spend the night with your husband/wife. The sofa bed is also very inconvenient for the third guest to sleep on.
Photos are a blatant misrepresentation of space, it's very small, cramped and no fun. There is one meager closet door in which clothes can be hung, otherwise no unpacking space. There is no place, except the bed, to open a suitcase. There is no dishwashing, unless it is done by the cleaner the next morning. WiFi is absolutely pathetic. Etc. etc etc
No power, no water, no WiFi, room is not as shown on photograph, very disappointed.

Beautiful, quiet estate. Perfect for someone who just needs a moment of peace and quiet and a moment to recharge themselves.
It's absolutely gorgeous out there. Nature transports you away, the greenery, the quietness - It's like traveling far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We only spent the one night, yet we managed to switch off and just relax.
The only thing that I would recommend the host to do would be to have small battery lamps or candles in the room for when there is load shedding.
I needed some time to relax and enjoy my own company and I did.

Everything was fine. My feeling is that they will surely have to replace their beds. Slept incredibly badly on a bed that was very poor quality.
Photos make it look very clean and tidy. Upon arrival there was no one to receive us and make us feel welcome. Extra furniture in room which was also in bad condition. Cups were dirty and there was a shortage of cutlery and were on the floor inside the cupboard. Wifi was also very slow with 1MB/s speed and half the time showing "connected without internet access". The freezer compartment of the refrigerator was frozen. Braai area and facilities also in very poor condition. Lots of potential to be a nice place to visit.
Place looks like the pictures, but go visit it. Poor quality bed, bedding, "sleeper couch", towels, etc. E.g. duvet inner of room 1's "batting" is caked together in balls. Previous guests have complained about the frozen part of the fridge being seized. It's still being tackled. Carpets were filthy dirty, host removed them. So there were no carpets. I sent an email. The host indicated that there is no mistake and the accommodation is also cheap. I'll leave it there. I question the standard. It was meant to be a treat for my children and grandchildren, I could cry!
I suspect a cat slept in that room. It reaked of cat urine and we were itching as a result. The bed was wobbly and stood on some sort of plastic cups. The mattress was springy and made a noise. We could not sleep which made traveling the next day extremely challenging because we were tired.
The host was very welcoming and helpful.

It was very easy to find them and they accommodated us with an earlier check-in time because we had a wedding in the area in the afternoon. The lady who checked us in was very helpful and friendly! The TV just didn't work, but it wasn't the end of the world.
It is a very nice place but no maintenance is done. One cupboard door's hinge is broken, the table is too slanted to eat at, but the biggest problem is the mattress is out of date and needs to be replaced. The installation of a hand sanitizer in the shower is recommended.

Stephen and his wife went out of their way to accommodate my needs from providing me with toothpaste (which I had forgotten) to lifting me to appointments at an excellent rate as I was without my own transport. I enjoyed the private pocket garden.
The tranquility was somewhat disturbed by the fact that everything the person in the next room was doing was clearly audible through the thin wall. The room is well equipped, but a small table and chairs to sit and drink coffee or eat would make it even better. There is a work desk with one seat.
Room is very, very neat and has everything you need for the two nights I slept there.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the stay. I did not expect what was wonderful for the R300 fee, I was just looking for a bed for the evening. Room was very neat, with all the necessary amenities of much more expensive accommodation.
