The pictures don't do justice to the place. It is such a gem. The host was so accommodating.
Wheelchair accessible. I was comfortable with my friends and enjoyed every moment hope to come back again.
It is definitely home away from home. I wish it was right at the beach; it is not far though, only 1.6 km from the beach. I would have loved to have the sea view from the house. Besides that, the cottage is so perfect.

Couta Cottage was not only very stylish accommodation, but was comfortable (beds were incredibly comfortable), enough bathrooms, clean and had everything one could possibly need and more. There was a toy box which was ideal for my 3 year old, and a nice big garden for our 3 dogs who could go together. The beach is close enough to load all the children and dogs in the car and go frolicking. Shops and places to eat were also nice and close! We enjoyed it very much!

The house was beautiful with everything that we needed.
Broken garden chairs. Loose toilet seats. Sliding door lock faulty. Insufficient towels. Continuous building work on south neighbour's premises from 6am to 10pm including weekends and public holidays. Incessant 3 barking dogs through the night and early hours of the morning waking us all up.

Couta Cottage felt like a home away from home, perfect artistic rooms and bathrooms. The house was comfortably cooled with aircons in each area, the wide opening doors to deck gave such a welcoming view and acoustics of the ocean in sight. Cleaning service was impeccable. Roughly 2 minute drive to the nearest beaches, lovely restaurants and other shops that would service any need at the spur of the moment. Pet friendly which was a great added option for small pets. We as well as our kids loved the place and will be back again!
Many thanks to Annel and her husband for the kind hospitality. It was so convenient. Very close to the beach and restaurants. We took our dog children with us and it was really nice for them and very comfortable. There is an outside shower so we washed off most of the sand right there before we went into the house. The house is truly incredibly beautiful and if you like unique things then you will love the place. We will definitely go back.

Beautiful neat place just too far from the beach and if it rains you can't barbecue on the stoep because there is no roof.

Couta cottage offers five star accommodation in a house with the most beautiful decor. Bonus is that our dog children could come along. Extras like biscuits, coffee and tea were a plus. We would definitely recommend couta cottage.
Very nice house. Only complaint is that it wasn't cleaned up properly after previous people were there. There was a used bar of soap by the sink in the bathroom and the trash in the bathroom and outside by the braai was not emptied. Under the cupboards had also not been cleaned for a long time. Furthermore, the place was very nice and tidy. Would recommend the place for sure.
