This first-floor, oceanfront apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed while the other 2 bedrooms each have twin beds. Linen and bath towels are provided, however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The kitchen is fully equipped and features a fridge-freezer combination, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Laundry room is at bottom of stairs, separate to apartment, but belongs to the unit and has a washing machine. The open-plan lounge area offers comfortable seating and a TV with the full bouquet of DStv channels.
There is a UPS to keep the Wi-Fi on during load shedding and guests can also charge their phones or tablets with it.
Emergency lights in the kitchen, dining area and bedrooms are also available.
A 1-hour cleaning service is included from Monday to Saturday but excludes Public Holidays. This service includes making up of beds, cleaning bathrooms, braais and sweeping and mopping of all floors, but not the dishes.
Outside, there is a large, undercover balcony with braai facilities and a full frontal sea view. The property offers a carport and an open parking bay. There is an outside shower on the patio.
One or 2 small dogs are allowed by previous arrangement.

Had a wonderful stay - everything was in place and beautiful! Very nice and comfortable (large) apartment with all the necessary facilities. Very centrally located and well laid out. The 2 x small dogs enjoyed it just as much and it was a bonus that they were allowed to go along. Would stay at the accommodation again any day.

Beautiful porch, nice Weber barbecue and close to the beach.
Such a beautiful place to stay for a family with kids and just adults too. Beautiful and peaceful space, we throroughly had an amazing stay and will certainly be back, the sound of the ocean and waves clapping was just what one would expect.
We already miss our vacation! We had a very nice holiday. It's really a beautiful place with a beautiful view of the sea. The stoep is fantastic, especially that you can be in the sun or under the roof, but still be outside. The furniture outside is very comfortable and works fantastically. The full DSTV was a bonus, especially with all the sport on. We were really very impressed! They are making an effort there. They just have to please fixing the security gate that one uses from the beach. Perfect location!
Loved the stay at Cowrie Cove 5, place is clean and neat, and they accommodated my dog as well. Excellent access to the beach and the views are stunning. Maybe just an aircon in the main lounge area, then all will be perfect. The main complex gate can be temperamental at times, as it may close in your car, just time it accordingly. Parking seems to be a bit of a mission, suggest using the visitor parking instead if you don't have an SUV. Definitely will return. Thanks a mil Christine and Abigail.
What a nightmare. The unit is terribly dirty. It needs a proper cleaning. I think the oven was probably cleaned 5 years ago. The place is full of dust. And there was month old dog poop under the bed in the master bedroom. The mattress on the bed in the master bedroom is not suitable for an adult to sleep on. It also doesn't look like the unit is being maintained because there are many broken things that haven't been replaced yet. During our stay there were renovations going on in the unit next door. So we had to live with a hack for 4 days. I do not recommend the place at all.
Perfect spot, close to the beach.
Alles van die plek was awesome. Die uitsig, die veiligheid, en ook baie naby aan alles. Die eenheid is baie goed opgepas en alles is daar wat 'n mens sal nodig kry. Al wat ek sal verander, is 'n beter stort kop en dalk begin kyk na 'n nuwe stoof top. Die res is alles perfek en ons sal defnitief terug wees! Baie dankie

The only issue we had was that the refrigerator did not make our food cold. It was reported and refilled with gas in the afternoon. The inventory list was a little confusing. Overall excellent place and we had enjoyed your stay very much.

The bathroom set up is very strange.
Service from the estate agents is great! The unit overlooks the sea and the beach is accessible. The unit is very nice and tidy.
My step father and I needed a break away due to personal reasons. I can say that the place felt like a second home.The unit and the veranda was perfect. We were close to everything and private access to the beach is always a bonus. I enjoyed that there are rules in place as we need peace and quiet but needed to hear the ocean and that’s what we got. Will for sure be going back.
Although we had a nice stay, safety was not to our liking as the gate to the beach was often broken. It made one feel restless at night. The bed and mattress in the master bedroom were not as desired.
1st bathroom toilet seriously leaking, cutlery was broken and chipped and replaced after 4 days. Although there is an electric fence, the gate to the beach is constantly open for anyone to walk into. Parking is a big problem, and although safe parking has been mentioned, it is false.
The location is excellent - literally 40m from the beach (Granny’s Pool). The view from the patio is stunning. The unit is relatively large and spacious, well furnished and equipped. The shower is a challenge for taller people - the roof is rather low in the shower. Other than that, the unit has everything you would expect, including a dishwasher (big time saver) and full DSTV which is fantastic when you have a family with children. The patio is well furnished with a large, comfortable couch perfect for lazy mornings and afternoons. We highly recommend Cowrie Cove 5. This unit is all about location, location, location.
Short only better sleeping pillows, otherwise everything was perfect.
The unit was very neat, clean and tastefully furnished. Cleaning services were prompt, friendly and thorough. However, I would recommend that the bed in the master bedroom be replaced, it is already a bit worn. It helped a lot that there was a washing machine because we were flying and could take as few clothes as possible. The location and view are fantastic.

Well-equipped self-catering apartment with beautiful view and large patio. Bedside lamps short bulbs, extra towel hooks in shower room would be appreciated. Parking somewhat problematic for 2 vehicles (if 6 adults stay overnight).

Nice view and lots of space, but rubbish bin in the kitchen collapsed and the place needs general maintenance.
The road next to the flat block, which you have to take to reach the beach, is very uneven and steep. View is fantastic and the view is comfortably furnished.
