OMW. Three words that explain our stay at Cranberry Cottage, Really did not expect the royal treatment that we got. From the moment we arrived until we left. The staff is absolutely amazing, the food is out of this world and everyone treated us so so well. Will definitely recommend Cranberry Cottage. Plugs out of order, had no hot water and had to be moved from 1 room to another.
The place is beautiful! Love the garden and the cottage! Everything you may need. Restaurant was warm and cosy. I even forgot an item in the room and the service I received when I phoned to arrange to pick it up was great. The only improvement I can suggest is with the waiter that served us that evening in the restaurant; his communication skills are poor, to say the least. He was unable to pronounce any of the available beers, even after asking the barman and another waiter. He had no idea what sherry was. He had to look at the menu to take down our order and asked if the crumbed chicken burger we ordered was the beef or chicken option. He was slow with drinks and food. The restaurant was not busy. The lady that served us breakfast the following morning was outstanding!

Roof leaking in 2 places in bedroom and one in bathroom. Rats in the ceiling. Pictures on the website look better than the physical rooms.
When we arrived, internet tickets were pressed into our hands, and I thought it was one that sold well. Then it was the manager. We were taken to an apartment that was not ready. The bed was not made, tables dirty, the place is creepy and smells like crap. After we complained, they realized we had booked the luxury unit, was moved. The place is dilapidated outside. We didn't see a chance for their breakfast.

We were 5 people who stayed overnight in Cranberry Cottage. The rooms were very neat and well furnished. Unfortunately, 2 of the guests did not have a good night's rest because it was noisy. Maybe there can be times set up when there should be silence. The breakfast was very nice. However, we were disappointed in the dinner - the orders were not carried out according to our requests. After all, we can still recommend it.

So much hospitality! You carry staff almost on your hands. Even our car was washed! The breakfast that was included was a big surprise and very tasty. Restaurant food from the books. The units are beautiful and very comfortable. All that bothered was water pressure which is very low. A jewel in the beautiful Free State!

Great accommodation in Ladybrand with comfortable rooms and everything needed. Fireplace in the room was a bonus. Good restaurant with wide variety of dishes and wine list. Excellent service from the staff. Definitely a must for any traveler and is a gateway to Lesotho.

The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Unit was clean and in a safe environment, there were quite a few noisy guests from the restaurant only late at night. The food in the restaurant was excellent as usual. Additional is the wide selection of wines from which we could choose. As mentioned our first choice.

It was an experience at Cranberry Cottage. The tranquility there was what we needed. The cottage was very neat and fully equipped. I can recommend it to anyone. The restaurant's food and service were some of the best. Definitely 4 star. We were received kindly every day.

I have been to Cranberries a few times now and each time it was a wonderful experience. The food has been perfect every time and the rooms in top condition. I will recommend Cranberry Cottages to anyone.
Cranberry Cottage has an amazing atmosphere surrounded by the trees and vegetation. Accommodation was comfortable, cottages beautiful and the food delicious. The staff should get 10 stars and not just 5. Their service was very good and they are wonderful people. Would recommend everyone to stay there and will definitely visit Cranberry again as a place to stay.

The newly restored rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Staff are really very friendly and as always the food is excellent and the breakfast is top notch. I like the idea that there is a butler and even your car can be washed, if you so choose. For a bird lover, there are plenty of garden birds for entertainment. The security is also good, friendly and visible.
The two cottage rooms are old and dilapidated, you can smell the dust. There is air conditioning, blankets and electric blankets so you sleep nice and warm. The one room's shower doesn't work at all and the coffee bar is directly opposite the one room where you hear the loud music all the time. The TVs are not tuned properly and channels like SABC 3 are missing. The roads are very bad, but at least the place has safe parking. The restaurant's food is delicious and good value for money, great. The staff are neat and friendly and helpful.

What an experience. From the moment you arrive until you leave you are carried on the hands by all the staff members. The rooms are neat and clean, and it feels like you are private and not bothered by the other guests. The food at the restaurant was also fantastic. Even our vehicle was washed without us asking for it - absolutely amazing; I can recommend it with confidence.
We arrived late and the lady at reception was very unfriendly and not helpful. The first impression of this establishment was not good. There was also nobody to help with the luggage and our room was located far from reception. The beautiful garden, our room, EXCELLENT food and friendliness of Shaun, Will and Veronica made up for our first impression of Cranberry Cottage! Thanks guys for a great stay... we will definitely be back!!!!
