Each self-catering apartment accommodates 2 adults and 2 children (not older than 15) which is approximately 400 m from the beach. It also offers easy access to the river, the harbour, Skulpiesbaai Nature Reserve, which boasts scenic routes through the milkwood forest, and Skulpiesbaai beach.
Alternatively, the 2 units can be booked together for a bigger family group of 4 adults and 4 children. The apartments offer a separate bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. Guests are required to bring their own towels. The open-plan living area has a bunk bed set for children, a kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, frying pan, bar fridge, toaster, electric egg boiler, kettle, cutlery, crockery and dishcloths. There is a freezer in the garage.
Off-street parking is available next to the main house. Wi-Fi Internet access and braai facilities are available by prior arrangement. DSTV Premium is available in both apartments. We regret indoor smoking and pets are not allowed.
Stilbaai is the perfect holiday destination with shallow waters and beautiful expanses of beach bordering the bay on either side. Lappiesbaai, the main beach on the east side of Stilbaai was awarded Blue Flag status.
Activities in the area include swimming, Parkrun every Saturday morning, Brug Mark (Bridge Market) every Saturday morning, canoeing, Run walk for Life, surf-skiing, fishing, golf, tennis, mountain- and road biking, bowling and an outdoor gym at the beach. Beer and gin tastings are also available in Stilbaai.

We had a lovely weekend at Crawfords Croft. Elize is an amazing hostess and nothing is too much trouble. The unit was wonderfully clean and tidy and the attention to detail is something you find in few other places. Very close to the beach and a lovely braai area where we spent long hours hanging out and hanging out. We will definitely use this accommodation again.

The property is very cute, cleanly and well kept, there is a braai and stoep you can use to relax. The property owners are very welcoming and accommodating, if you need anything they sort it out very quickly. The area is very peaceful and tranquil, low fences, beaches and walking parks all around.

It was an excellent week for us in Stilbaai. The accommodation was beautifully clean, tidy and well equipped. Safe and quiet environment. Beautiful braai area and lapa. Elize and JD received us kindly and were always very helpful. On our arrival there was a delicious sweet treat and a container full of the most delicious home-baked biscuits. The beach and hiking trails are conveniently close - walking distance. We had a fantastic experience for our week's holiday. Hopefully we will be able to visit again!
My wife and I spend five nights at Crafords and enjoyed every minute of it. The apartments are not huge, but perfect for a couple. Out hosts went out of their way to make our stay even more memorable. And then, there where these home baked rusks!

We were very kindly received at Crawfords Croft, and the apartment was well furnished and very clean and tidy! Elize and JD tried to make it as comfortable as possible for us and did more than expected. Apart from the sweets and fantastic biscuits that were in the apartment, they saw that we offered a 2 year old and a container of toys that kept him busy most of the time. (And even suspended swings). We could park our car safely at the back and we could use the beautiful lapa to braai, and it was delicious! They made us feel so welcome and special. We will definitely go back again!

We were received kindly and promptly, our accommodation was very neat, clean and well furnished. Crawfords is located in a quiet and tidy area, close enough to the sea and river. I would like to park my vehicle under cover, especially during the night, for us inland people it just feels like your car will rust immediately if it got even a little dew or rain.

The accommodation was immaculately clean and the attention to detail was excellent. We lacked for nothing, down to the hair dryer, the coat hangers in the cupboard, DSTV, soap in the bathroom etc. I was delighted to find milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, home baked rusks, dish liquid etc. Being a self catering unit I did not expect this level of service. Our hosts, Elize and JD were professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend Crawfords Croft and look forward to being able to stay there at a future date.
Our family really enjoyed Stilbaai and what surprised us was the incredible cleanliness of the self-catering unit at Crawfords Croft. Elise and JD made us feel at ease, even though we have two very restless children. The fine detail was very special. We will definitely stay there again. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Very neat, clean and comfortable. A dedicated parking place for your vehicle would be an advantage as opposed to being parked in the street. It is not a big deal as Stilbaai is a very safe area..
It was lovely not to be disturbed at all by the owners above us, as well as our friends next door. Sound of the waves at night was wonderful. There is just nowhere in the bathroom to hang clothes and towels.

Unfortunately, Pansy Shell had a minimal view of the sea, but it was about 800m from the beach, so within walking distance. Elize and husband JD, are incredibly nice. They were also happy to help with directions to Hermanus which took me along the beautiful R43 pass along the Hottentots Hollands mountains. Aunt Elize enjoys spoiling her guests with bouquets and home-baked biscuits.
The owners' hospitality is "amazing"! Some things in the facilities are missing and we shared them with the owners. I would recommend this accommodation to other people with great confidence!
