6 guests' feedbackCrayfish Creek offers delightful holiday accommodation. Spacious, clean rooms and nice braai facilities. The kitchen is well equipped and the management is very hospitable. We had a great stay and can recommend the accommodation.
We had a great stay, but would still recommend that they replace their bedding and towels. It is very old and no longer white at all.
Parking is a problem (no indication given in advertisement of how many cars are allowed) so we were 2 vehicles (Kombi & Toyota pickup) and so the 1 vehicle was parked outside. Risk is for us, we come from RSA and have also taken quadbikes with us. Water restrictions have been (they had no plan B). Come from dunes we have to provide our own water. (not acceptable). Washing machine is a requirement (we were there 14 days) should have taken laundry to Laundry - unnecessary expense. Large group of people (was 8) will be extra shower or bath nice. After all we had a very nice stay.
We were a big group of 13 people and we were all very comfortably housed. The owner was very helpful and even went to buy fans because of the heat. Unfortunately we had the easterly winds which blew in all the sand from the sand dunes, but in the afternoons we had sufficient time to explore the area. Lovely outside area to light a fire and enjoy the quiet evenings. Maybe the host can provide a key to the bathroom.
We were a family group of 7 adults and one child of 7 years old. The accommodation was a good walking distance from the beach and also from a Total petrol station which sells most household items. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The child enjoyed the playground that was there and we also made a nice fire to sit outside in the evenings.
Guest friendly and safe environment that will be highly recommended.
