Very friendly reception, neat. But not value for money: no shower cap, not enough toilet paper for amount of people in room, no options of coffee. TV remote back is gone and doesn't work, must turn on TV. Biscuit container half empty, gives the impression that it is not a fresh biscuit. Get a smaller container instead if few rusks are served. Otherwise nice overnight.

We had a great night's sleep in the beautiful and comfortably furnished room. We really appreciated the WhatsApp message to wish us a safe trip on the way to the accommodation, as well as the courtesy of using some of their power for our fridge. It's a shame that we didn't meet the owners in person.

The walls are thin and you can hear everything in the room next door. Noisy clanging against the back wall from the TV satelite/gate made it uncomfortable to sleep. Bathroom had see-through glass, which was not in our original booking pictures.

Great place to spend the night in Bloemfontein.
On the way to Pretoria, we suddenly decided to spend the night in Bloemfontein instead of Beaufort West. We were very kindly received at 22:30! The next morning we left very early and later even received a WhatsApp to hear if everything was OK with our stay. This is amazing service! Thank you very much again.

Very nice stay, clean and neat, room wasn't the one I chose on the website. Warm night's sleep. Crockery met all of the basic needs and there were enough two-prong plugs. Open-plan bathroom and bedroom, toilet was separate. Very close to hospitals and centres. The only possible con: parking is very tight and not marked.

We stayed in a new, modern little house next to the main house (Room 4). The guesthouse has a good location in a quiet neighbourhood, yet close to the inner city. Good restaurants and bars (as well as the wonderful Olywenhuis Museum) are just a few streets from the guesthouse. Arika is a friendly and helpful hostess. We really enjoyed our stay.

When we arrived the place was clean, tidy and smelled fresh. The style and decor looks great. Compared to other guest houses we've visited at over the past few years, this is a 5 star property (despite not being graded). The host is friendly and very understanding and accommodating. All we needed was a place to sleep and wash. The air-con was a bonus and ideal with the sometimes hot and humid weather. I would definitely recommend this place. Enclosed secure parking in front of your guest your guest room as well. Thank You Alrika for the great service and assistance with my wife when I had to attend to my son in the hospital.

It was a lovely surprise on arrival. The room was clean and the pure white bedding creates a clean atmosphere. The room was extremely comfortable with the bathroom being a new concept. We could drink tea and coffee and our grandchild could play happily in the backyard. We will definitely use this guest house again. Real value for money!
