Our stay at the Crompton Cottage was excellent. The cottage came with more than we expected. The rooms, bathroom, lounge, etc. were in great condition. Everything was up to standard. Definitely recommend the place. For sure a five-star stay.
Perfect accommodation for a large group of people.
The house is beautiful and spacious.
We stayed in a farmhouse built in the 1880s. Lovingly maintained and the stoep has a view over rolling hills. Enough space for two/three families. It is a working farm and after two days we understood far more about modern farming than ever before. Thanks to the kind tour of the dairy. SA hospitality at its best.
Owners incredibly friendly and helpful. Safe! Peaceful atmosphere in and around the house.
Although the unit is located on a commercial dairy farm, the accommodation was excellent. Even with load shedding, there was no pack-in, as the farm has 24/7 power generation available. The house is very spacious, spotless and comfortable. The garden is large and facilities excellent. WiFi and cell reception is a problem. Tamsin was amazing. Would stay there again anytime.
We had a lovely time staying in this grand and spacious house. Everything was comfortable, very well provisioned and well set up. Our host Tamsin was delightful - she went out of her way to help us and provided a number of lovely treats throughout our stay. From the fresh milk from the dairy, great coffee, daily servicing to local advice and information. I can't rate this highly enough. It's a lovely, big house. Take the family and enjoy all the area has to offer.
We had a great time on this working dairy farm. Tamsin really went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Will visit there again for sure. Also many things to do in the area.
