I booked it for our technician as we had previously stayed at this venue. As usual, excellent facilities and good value for money.

We were received so kindly by Amanda and her family. The boys were helpful in unloading our things as well. We immediately felt at home. It is a beautiful unit with stones that form part of the house. We had a great time swimming. When we got home that evening, the unit was clean and tidy. We will definitely use Amanda's place again and we recommend it to anyone visiting Nelspruit. It is centrally located and close to everything we needed to visit.
Cronje Cottage was ideal for me and my two children for an overnight stay. Very friendly hostess.
The host is very friendly. The cottage has a damp smell, and there were ants. The bedding is not up to guesthouse quality. At the entrance of the cottage is a big rock, making it not easy to navigate your way to the car and the cottage. You have to climb a few meters on the rock before you get to the stairs. I was really scared that I would slip.

Great location and neat cottage. Only small issue was as I was recovering from a knee injury getting up the rocky slope with no handrail was a bit of an issue. I suspect that elderly people will struggle with this. Setting is amazing and stunning pool and braai area.

Well located. Think the slope and granite bench on which the property is located may be a challenge for less mobile people. Wasn't a problem for us, finally special atmosphere created.

This excellent living unit is neat and clean with a large fridge and coffee making facilities as well as a microwave. Serviced daily. Located in a well-kept garden with braai facilities, swimming pool and trampoline and very private. In addition, there is a beautiful view of the mountains. The owners did not bother to provide extra lighting inside and outside during loadshedding. Definitely a place to recommend.

It was very nice place with a very large fridge which we appreciated with the large freezer compartment. The shower is great and the water pressure is fantastic and the water makes your skin nice and soft. We sat outside at the pool and admired the garden with the beautiful view. There is everything you need to spend a night or longer for a week.
The place is very beautiful. But slept almost nothing. The fridge in the room is terrible, then you can not turn on the aircon, because it's noisy. The tap in the room drips. The pillows on the bed are already flat. After such an evening, one wants to take at least a hot shower to start the day, but there was no hot water. It was a very unpleasant night. Would not recommend.
Very cute place to stay, but no additional stuff. DStv not working, AC not working but fan available, WiFi not available.
All that you need is there for that one night sleep over. Even cute puppies to warm the heart! Hosts are super friendly. We left early on Saturday morning to the stadium but got stuck in bad traffic. We returned to the cottage, parked our car there and went to do the race. We fetched our car later on in the day again. Amanda did not have a problem with it at all. Our car was safe and secure for the duration of the marathon and they did not charge us an extra cent for that. We are very grateful for this.

Only negative is the step to the room is over a large rock. Inconvenient and can be dangerous for older people. Would really recommend that they put in steps from the room to the car park.
