There is also a jacuzzi on the deck. All linen is provided, but please bring your own beach towels. Other in-room facilities include a kitchen and lounge area. Crooked Cabin has a jacuzzi only, and no pool facilities.
The Snuggle Inn is a fully furnished cottage that sleeps 4, it consists of 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed in each, both bedrooms have wall mounted fans, wardrobes, and bedside tables with lamps, a lovely sized bathroom with shower, all linen is provided, as well as towels for the Jacuzzi and pool. We celebrated a wonder Old Years eve, in a wonderful place. Our hosts, Roz and Ian, were awesome and we simply could not ask for more. We will definitely be back!
Friendly, understanding and clean.
We stayed in Snugglenin. Crooked cabin looks like a tent from a distance and I would not recommend it. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely and all the amenities available. There were no facilities for load shedding in the house.
We had a nice stay. It was winter, so it was a bit cold inside. Suggest air conditioning or heater.
Unfortunately, the cabin was not very clean. The availability of crockery or kitchen equipment was not holiday-friendly. The outside deck area was broken. The couches are extremely uncomfortable.
Had an awesome stay! The place was so neat and clean and the hosts were so friendly. Would recommend any time, hopefully, we will return soon.

The house was extremely neat and organized. It was nice and relaxing in the jacuzzi on the deck, with a beautiful view of the sea. The owners are very welcoming and even left chocolates, milk, and wood in case you arrive late at night. We had a great time!

Everything was great. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would have liked loadshedding to not bother so much, especially when using the Jacuzzi.
I couldn't sleep as the plastic in the roof was flapping in the wind all the time. No insulated ceiling, the mattresses were very old and it collapsed in the middle, so we kept rolling to the middle. These days Wi-Fi is standard and I battled to work from the cabin. The other cottage is a wendy house which didn't meet my standards. Anyway, I will not be returning.
Crooked Cabin is ideally located with the most beautiful view of the harbor in St. Helena Bay. We had a great time on the veranda and in the Jacuzzi. West coast living at its best.

The Crooked Cabin was very pleasant, tidy and it felt like our home. The view was amazing and the air was fresh. We enjoyed barbecuing and gazing over the sea. Children really enjoyed the pool. Nothing nicer than making a fire and looking over the sea. The jacuzzi was a great treat. Roz is so friendly, felt very at home. Will definitely visit again.

Breathtaking and the setup is very suitable especially if you have children and the place sits in a good place to get up with the sun on your face and the view of the harbor and sea makes you want to start the day. Even the friendliness of the town's people makes you feel welcome and JP's is the place to be if you want to eat a nice steak.

We loved the animals, the views from the deck was beautiful ,the shop is nice and close to the venue.
I had a good time. It was a little cold. No extra blankets.
We had a good stay because we planned to enjoy it. The pictures on the ad were confusing and I thought I was getting what I now think is the Snuggle Inn. Also, the pictures are outdated but I should've done my due diligence. The cabin has everything needed for a weekend break. Coffee, tea, milk some extra choc's for a treat. Lovely inside fireplace and outside braai and a supply of firewood from the host. The jacuzzi was a pain as it was mostly tepid which is not good in winter. I would suggest a shower fitting for the convenience to take a shower. And some extra thicker blankets for winter months. The roosters will start crowing at 3 am.
Everything in the kitchen needs replacing, oven also needs a new one, not working 100%. Windows rain in and can't open, especially danger with power at kitchen and water. Cushions are very flat and short "protective covers". Urgent decent big blankets, there are only knee blankets in the cottage.
Owners are most helpful and really take pride in their accommodation. We felt safe, had our privacy, and all the necessary amenities. We will definitely be back. A must visit.

The environment lets you really appreciate nature. Not much activities for the kids though, besides the pool and Jacuzzi. But the owners has some animals which was very interesting for my kids. Very peaceful place, and I loved how private it was. Thank you Rosslyn and hubby for having us and even assisting with directions. Very easy to find. Would gladly go again.
It was warm and there was a lovely clean pool to cool off in. On the covered patio was a Jacuzzi. Host spoiled us with wood, milk and chocolate. The view is beautiful the silence is something to get used to. It's a nice place to kick off your shoes and relax. Would love to go again.

We have now stayed in both houses and thoroughly enjoyed each time. It's always clean and tidy. My only suggestion would be, and it may be person specific, but the other 2 bedrooms in the larger house also lack dark curtains or blinds. Otherwise you wake up very early, as well as where the sliding door is in the evening.
Coming from Cape Town City and having a stressful job in the oils and lubricants industry I had almost forgotten what it felt like to feel relaxed. The little cabin had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Only thing that was not comfortable were the chairs in the lounge area. It is always nice to stretch out on a couch to watch a movie which we found awkward to do with these chairs, but we managed to take a mattress from one of the other bedrooms and snuggled up on the floor to watch a movie. The Jacuzzi was amazing and set a really romantic mood for myself and hubby. The fireplace was great and sitting outdoors listening to the animals was just a serene experience. Paternoster is close to drive for some amazing food and Vredenburg Mall not far off either. Definitely recommend this place.
We enjoyed it very much. The owners were very friendly and the area was nice and quiet. The Jacuzzi was a plus and we would definitely go again. All I would change is the mattress of the bed. Furthermore, we have no complaints and can definitely recommend it.

Only had lukewarm water at shower and Jacuzzi was dirty (cleaned myself) so was very disappointed with that. Wanted to book again for the end of June but now decided against it.

Place is really nice, photos should be updated as it does not really look the same. Some of the equipment are rusted, tape used to fix some things. We hardly watched TV but they only fixed it the last night we where there. Nice thing is they pet-friendly. If you looking for a brake and love seeing the ocean it is definitely an option, Jacuzzi was clean, house was also clean just the little things that need attention. Will go again.

It was very calming, fantastic view of the sea and the house itself was cozy. I really enjoyed myself just staring at the sea and the animals around us.
Snuggle-inn at Crooked Cabins was definitely the best choice for our family. The bubble bath and fireplace definitely drove the cold away. The place was clean, neat and very convenient. The owners are nice people and made us feel at home. We will definitely book there again.

We stayed in the Snuggle Inn. The house is tasteful and has everything you need. I did take extra blankets which I was glad about as the duvet wouldn't be warm enough. The fresh milk and chocolate on arrival was very welcome. We didn't use the jacuzzi, but what I really appreciated was that it was already turned on when we arrived. The view is unbeatable and the tranquility is just what we were looking for. Our puppy Trixie was just as impressed!
Great place to visit. The upkeep of the property needs to be looked at, otherwise had a wonderful time.
The cabin is really a nice place, it was only when we got visitors that it was a problem after no one informed us that no visitors were allowed, and the DStv that could not print on another channel on Saturday night. It's really not right what happened.
Very nice accommodation with tranquility and relaxing atmosphere. Nice view of the sea and fully equipped with everything we needed. Jacuzzi just didn't want to get 100% hot and we didn't use it then, but otherwise everything was fine.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The chocolates and fresh liters of milk in the fridge were also a pleasant welcome. However, there are only a few things that we would like to be informed about in advance, e.g. the swimming pool which is out of order due to of drought and the fireplace not working, which was only realized the day of our arrival. We got the idea that our reservation might have been forgotten until a day before after I messaged to ask if we needed to bring anything extra and I was asked to bring extra blankets - they were none no problem bringing it with us, although our car's luggage space was quite limited with 4 kids, but would they have informed me of it if I hadn't asked on my own? Little things that could use attention, like all the light bulbs not working, only 5 large plates when we are 6 guests, the Jaccuzzi's switch giving problems (although at least they sorted it out quickly the next day after we went to ask , but we couldn't use it on Friday night), and the TV's channels causing problems if someone in the other cottages changed the channels, which led to the owner constantly having to come and ask us if we had changed channels. We did enjoy our weekend, but figured that paying attention to a few things would make our time there a little more comfortable. If it weren't for that, we would be able to recommend it to friends and family with more peace of mind.
The initial impression is not supported by the facility. Facilities and equipment are old. Electricity went off with a bang. Ian was very friendly, but unfortunately this could not make up for the shortcomings of the unit.
Reception by Jan, one of the owners, was nice. Many dead flies under the bed, many mosquitoes. Water on 2 mornings. Swimming pool was not suitable for swimming. Too many rules for swimming, makes guests feel like a nuisance. E.g. just in and out at swimming pool. DStv did not want to work at a time. Will not recommend anyone to book there. I have been to many better places with good facilities.

We actually stayed at the Snuggle Inn unit. This was an absolutely peaceful break away from hectic city life, and it's only less than 2 hours from Cape Town. The Jacuzzi and ability to braai inside the cabin was very welcome as the weather was a little cool. The host was very welcoming, and the extra surprise of chocolates in the fridge such a nice touch. It's the second time I've been to Crooked Cabin and will definitely go back. Received a warm reception from owner Roz and her husband. Jacuzzi was awesome on the cold winter night and the jetmaster warmed up the house nicely. Will definitely recommend.
Stove/oven had limited functions, microwave was not working (they did come and swap on the second day there), electricity cut off on last night and only went back on when we left so we couldn't bath or make coffee. Very cold and not enough warm bedding provided. Not great hospitality. Cabin very basic, no shower facilities and we cannot bath with water restrictions. Basic items like matches for fire and extra refuse bags were not provided.
We won't forget our holiday. It was wonderful! Neat, clean and with everything you can think of. Roz and Ian, you will always be in our hearts. Thank you for a wonderful time and all the stories and laughs and your care. We will visit again. Thank you.
Roz is a very good hostess - she made us feel very comfortable, the children enjoyed playing in the open with the horses and goats - even our two Yorkies - running around - it was awesome!! Will definitely go again.
Crooked Cabin is a wonderful place. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is just the place. Although the only thing was that it was extremely windy the time we went. But nonetheless it was a good experience.

We booked to stay in Crooked Cabin in the dead of winter. A day before we left there Ros called us and asked if we didn't want to stay in the Snuggle Inn instead. It is also on the same premises. We agreed and were pleasantly surprised with the facilities. The view over the bay is beautiful and we were close to everything. The giant fireplace in the house makes a huge difference in terms of togetherness and together with the jacuzzi creates a festive atmosphere. We will want to go again soon.
Had a lovely rest and it was exactly what we as a family needed. Crooked Cabin offers everything you need to be comfortable away from your normal routine. Hospitality is high on the agenda and you truly feel at home.
This was our first trip to the West Coast and we were not familiar with the local culture at all. Ian and Roz went out of their way to make our experience worthwhile and memorable. We explored the area with the guesthouse's bicycles and loved every trip. Ian even gave us some ideas by taking us on his bakkie for a sight seeing tour. What a beautiful and tranquil area. Being an animal lover, Ian also took us to a local private game farm. We got an opportunity to interact with a tame Eland, crow and more rescue animals. All for no costs. Negotiating with the locals for the best price for lobsters, was definitely a plus! Thank you Ian for taking us to the harbor and giving us a glimpse on how the fish industry works. An eye opener for sure. Never realized just jow similar the life of a farmer and a fisherman can he. Not easy! We loved the cabin, fireplace inside and personally, I just adored all the animals. A real farm set-up at the see. Have never seen such healthy and friendly goats. Wish we could stay longer. Our expectations were met a 100 %. We will definitely spread the word and be back to visit again. Thank you for all your hospitality, cuisine tips (especially with the lobsters) and just your willingness to assist with everything. We loved it!
Crooked Cabin was booked so we stayed at the Snuggle Inn. Very friendly family that owns the place, nice view and nice and private. Perfect for those who want to get away from everyday busy life. Very quiet place. The Jacuzzi could perhaps have been set a little warmer as we were only able to use it once during the 4 night stay as the water did not want to get any warmer. Other than that, no complaints, excellent place!

Upon our arrival, I was immediately very impressed, not only with the friendly service we received, but also with the layout of the place! I would recommend Crooked Cabin over and over, definitely plan to book again.
It's the perfect place to break away from your normal habits at home and work. Here you can just relax with the wonderful sea air (which is always good) with friends or family.
We had a wonderful time in the Jacuzzi and on the veranda. With the view and the Jacuzzi, one cannot help but relax completely. We had a nice welcome from the friendly dog on the premises. The free chocolate also went down very well... Roz-they were very helpful with everything we needed, no matter how late the night. Not that one can ask for much more than what the cottage already offers. We will definitely go back for another weekend.
I got quite cold, but the fireplace and jacuzzi were worth it and kept us warm.
The view is lovely and the Jacuzzi on the veranda is an asset. The rooms and bathroom's decor is beautiful. Attention can be paid to finer details such as the chairs that have been put through a lot, bedroom doors that cannot close properly and that it is difficult to get hold of the hostess.
The place has the right name because from the outside it looks like a "Crooked Cabin", but inside it was wonderfully spacious and clean with everything you need. We had a great stay, the mattresses are in good condition and we were able to explore the West Coast as planned.

We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful weekend. The house was clean and tidy upon our arrival and afterwards we were received by a wonderful hostess. It was amazing to wake up every morning with such a beautiful view. The most delicious of the weekend was for sure the fresh pike and lobster. A real diamond!

Description
The Snuggle Inn is a fully furnished cottage that sleeps 4, it consists of 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed in each, both bedrooms have wall mounted fans, wardrobes, and bedside tables with lamps, a lovely sized bathroom with shower, all linen is provided, as well as towels for the pool. The Jacuzzi is situated on the entertainment decking with your braai, tables and chairs. There is also an open plan fully fitted kitchen, with a fridge freezer, stove and oven, there is also a old black dover stove situated in the very large fireplace that is fully functional as well as an open plan living area, with a TV. On-site facilities include a swimming pool for the guests at The Snuggle Inn only.
The accommodation consists of 2 cottages, which include the Crooked Cabin and The Snuggle Inn. Crooked Cabin is suited for 6 guests and comes equipped with 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms come equipped with double beds and the other bedroom features 2 single beds. There is a lovely size bathroom, with large corner bath, fitted with a shower attachment. There is also a jacuzzi on the deck. All linen is provided, but please bring your own beach towels. Other in-room facilities include a kitchen and lounge area. Crooked Cabin has a jacuzzi only, and no pool facilities.
