The heater, feather duvet and brushed cotton sheets kept us warm and cosy during our brief overnight stay in August. We enjoyed a generous continental breakfast made of quality foods. It was quiet and our hosts were kind, considerate people who live on this beautiful farm. Thank you so much!

Glenn and Ros can be proud of the quality of their accommodation, with added frills not experienced elsewhere. The location is ideal for an overnight stay as it is easily reachable for travellers from Cape Town to Durban, where good alternative accommodation is hard to come by in the area.

From the friendly reception by Ross and her animal children, the beautiful cottage, the safe environment, pure white bedding, to the breakfast the next morning, our expectations were exceeded. Take the more beautiful route from Gariepdam and spend the night here on the way to the sea - you will definitely not regret it!

The facilities are really beautiful and we lacked nothing. We had a great rest and were ready for the journey on the next day. The host and hostess were very friendly. All I have to say is that the signposting to Croydon Cottage turning off in the evening is not very visible.

The welcome was warm and we immediately felt at home in the crisp room. We enjoyed delicious lamb pie and vegetables, beautifully served, in the beautiful garden for dinner. Birdsong loudly announced the new day and we couldn't help but enjoy our morning coffee again in the garden. The breakfast was once again beautifully served and on our departure we were greeted not as guests, but as friends. We can confidently recommend Croydon Cottage.
We've stayed over twice, the owner and Scottish Terrier are both very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are lovely, modern and clean with all the needed amenities. The farm setting peaceful and refreshing.

The cottage was crisp white, neat and clean with all necessities, down to a hand mirror and hair dryer. Everything in the house is and feels luxurious and says spoiled. Glen and Roz's warmth and comfort lead to a relaxed visit and the eye for detail and extras made us feel very special. The dinner and breakfast were wonderful and our first coffee on veranda in the morning, with the silence and hills around us, was heavenly. Will want to stay there again next time even if it means we have to take a detour. Well done.

We enjoyed a warm and professional welcome from Roz and Glenn, and a comfortable night in the little cottage. Own entrance and garden furniture gives privacy if you want, but being fellow-farmers, it was nice to chat to Roz and Glenn. We really enjoyed the delicious lamb pie and chicken pie and veggies for supper and the coffee and continental breakfast.

A very warm couple, ideally suited to be B&B owners, make one feel very welcome from the start! The room has everything one needs, including air-conditioning which was wonderful as the temp was 36 degrees upon arrival. Both dinner and breakfast were simple, but beautifully presented and very adequate. Exceptionally clean. Very strongly recommended.
