Perfect overnight stop between Gauteng and the Malelane gate of Kruger. Neat and clean. Friendly hostess who patiently answered my questions over Whatsapp all the time. Will definitely stay there again.

Good Wi-Fi. The extra spring mattress was appreciated for our 4 year old. The air conditioner was a plus. The photos are misleading. Not happy with outdated bedding, very dusty. Refrigerator does not seal completely and the freezer section in the refrigerator freezes over.
No what. Got there, we didn't have a room. Had to call around to get into the premises. Parking was a nightmare. Towels were not there until you ask. TV doesn't work. Rooms smell of smoke. There was no coffee. No what, not a recommendation at all. The owner was nowhere to be seen.
Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere with beautiful cycads and shrubs.
We arrived after 23:00, the hosts stayed up to open for us. We only slept there, leaving again at 05:30 to be early at the Malelane gate.
Bed unfortunately not very comfortable, comfortable bathroom and room. Nice garden and pool at the back of the yard.

After showing us the room we did not see our host again till we requested the gate to be opened the next morning. We were given one bath towel and one hand towel. There was no soap. No coffee.
Load shedding was a problem. No flash. At least expect soap in the bathroom. The hostess is pleasant and friendly.

Clean and comfortable accommodation. Coffee and tea facilitie sin every room, free Wi-Fi and full DStv was a bonus. Fully equipped kitchen and braai is available outside at the swimming pool if you wanted to make your own meals. This is great if you're staying a bit longer. My only issue was the small parking area. It was like a puzzle to fit all the vehicles. Two-prong adapters to charge your cellphone would also be nice. Most people have celllphones to charge, but doesn't necessarily travel with an adapter. I had to ask for one.

Cycas Guesthouse was everything and more than one could ask for. Our host and hostess made us feel very much at home and went out of their way to make everything as pleasant as possible for us. The rooms (with full bathrooms and air conditioning), gardens, swimming pool and self-catering kitchen were very neat and comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty. We will definitely stay at Cycas again when we are in the area.

We had a wonderful overnight stay in a neat and clean room. Kudos for having enough wall plugs for all our phones and tablets! A beautiful garden in a beautiful setting. The free WiFi and full DStv were bonuses. This friendly couple has ensured that we will easily spend the night there again!

We had a great weekend, Hamiltons has good food, Kruger was awesome, rugby at the Duck and Dive was great and playing a round of golf at Leopard Creek was brilliant. Coming back to Cycas for a rest, worked out very well.
The rooms were clean, spacious and charming. Our money went a LONG way at the Cycas Guest House! They were helpful with dinner reservations and our early morning leave. Great lodging for couples, singles or families.
