Great stay! Everything you need! Wood for grilling! Nice very hot water! Even hot water bottles in bed for cold nights.
We really enjoyed it. For people who are looking for outdoor life and hunting and silence, this is the perfect place. The open plains and the stars are an experience to behold. The extra effort that was made for us and various messages that were sent to us made me want to go there, no matter the challenges. We love the place. We as a family laughed so much and enjoyed time together as a family under the stars and the Monopoly game under the stars.
We had a wonderful overnight stay at Cypherkuil Farmhouse. They went on a wonderful journey of discovery in a safe environment in the field. It was wonderful for the two children who are just used to city life. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and our hostess contacted us regularly to see if everything was OK. We would definitely recommend it to people who want to experience a quiet peaceful evening under the Karoo stars. The dirt road is also not bad at all, can be driven with a normal sedan car. Our hostess also provided very clear directions.
We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful nature, very clean, comfortably furnished. I would definitely recommend them. Especially if you want a nice farm atmosphere. Friendly hostess, did more than was needed. We travel a lot between Gansbaai and Pretoria, and will now stay there every time. We are very satisfied. Wonderfully peaceful. We also had 4 large dogs with us.
Secluded, dead quiet, Karoo plains and a barbecue fire. A rare combination.
Very comfortable accommodation. We were perfectly safe and wish we could have stayed longer than the overnight stop on our way to the coast. It was wonderful to be able to stretch our legs after a long day's travelling with a walk to the dam and then enjoy a restful night before heading out the next morning. I will definitely visit again.
A nice Karoo experience, silence which one does well. Not too far from national tarmac. Nights with a bright open starry sky.
