Very private and pleasant, and we felt safe.
The environment is so peaceful. I liked the privacy you have with only the 1 house where there are no other people staying too close. The house is comfortable and clean. The braai area is a bonus. And the owners are friendly and hospitable. We will definitely stay there again. I could easily stay there permanently.
Very comfortable stay. Warm bedding. A suggestion to insulate outside pipes so that the water doesn't freeze.
Nice cottage with lots of space for kids!
We were received very kindly by the host and hostess. There was wood available for barbecuing and we even got fresh vegetables for salad from the garden. The cottage was very nice, neat, clean and well equipped. The green lawn, swimming pool and farm setting made the return journey feel like part of the holiday. Our two dogs really enjoyed the space. It was a lovely place to stay!

Moira and her husband received us so kindly and hospitably. We immediately felt at home and welcome. The guest house was immaculate, so clean and everything we needed. We had a lovely warm time with heaters and electric blankets, as well as extra blankets. We were welcomed with an old-fashioned tin of home-baked biscuits. I had a problem with Netflix and Moira's husband came out in the cold to help. Thank you very much for excellent service. We can recommend them with great boldness and this will also be our place to stay when we visit Bloemfontein again.
We really enjoyed our 4-day stay. The cottage is well furnished with everything needed for an overnight stay or business trip. It is only a few kilometers from the city and in a beautiful, peaceful setting with bird life and a private garden and barbecue area. The hosts' communication was excellent and we will definitely use the cottage again.
Danielsrust welcomed us with open arms and the management made us feel like family, and our place was unique, as beautiful as it is and especially the view and then when you walk in you still get the smell of freshly baked biscuits that have been put out especially for you. You have the most beautiful view and have so much to do and there is also so much for the children and large, open, safe plains where you can play. I personally think Danielsrust Cottage cannot be described through photos as they do not do it justice, it was an experience.
Nice unit with everything you need. Owner provided wood for a boma fire and the blankets were deliciously soft.
