The living room and dining room is open plan with DStv facilities on request. There are big windows and sliding doors onto the patio fitted with a braai. There is also an indoor braai for winter nights or if the weather is rainy or windy. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you needed away from home, dishwasher, washing machine, freezer and big fridge.
There is an inside braai as well as a braai on the deck available.
The beach is only 200m away and you can watch the kids play there, from the house. The property is not ideal for someone who has difficulty climbing stairs.
Dankepa Beach House is located 10 km from George airport and Fancourt, and Oubaai golf course is nearby. Knysna, Wilderness and all the wonderful Garden Route beaches are also within reach. It will be a wonderful experience to stay at Dankepa.

Our stay was fantastic and we loved it. Will definitely stay again and bring family. The only thing I would add is to notify people that there is no tea/coffee/milk etc. as we are used to having that at everywhere we have stayed and didn't pack in, so we got caught by a later check-in and nothing for coffee etc. The fact there are no shops nearby also needs to be emphasised in relation to the above so people can bring their own coffee/tea. Otherwise, it was amazing and exactly as advertised. I will definitely be back.
Very pleasant stay with all the information needed. Accessibility is a bit challenging with the steps, but one could work around that. The parking bay is quite a challenge, but manageable. All was in order. Even though the location is high up and "safe", one closes windows without burglar bars (a sign of the times we live in - unfortunately!).

It is an incredible place and one cannot help but enjoy it there. It feels like the waves are breaking in your ears so close you are to the sea.

It was a lovely house to stay in. Everything was clean and tidy. The caretaker was very helpful. The many stairs to the house are really a challenge (maybe put a photo of this on the listing as well). The parking very small for larger cars.
This is a lovely unit. We didn't get there until late on Friday evening. It was easy to find and great that there were lights during load shedding. We forgot to buy milk, so a container of long life milk would have come in handy the next morning as there are no shops nearby that were open.
We had such a good time, thank you. Next time we will stay longer.
I would recommend the house any day. The hostess was quick to respond when we had queries.
Would definitely recommend and want to go back again. Keep in mind there is only 1 small shop that is not open late in the evening. Just make sure to take food with you if you might arrive later. Otherwise it's a lovely place (the stairs to the beach are good exercise).

We really enjoyed the stay! Als was neat and clean, the house is well equipped. Close to the beach, and the most beautiful view. Perfect for a holiday by the sea, we will definitely go again!
Dankepa was an amazing experience. Our small children were auctioned on the balcony and we could have a wonderful holiday without worrying about busy roads or places where they could get hurt. The views are incredible. It feels as if you are directly above the sea. The stairs up to the house are very stylish, but once the luggage was in the house, it didn't bother us. The house is on 2 levels. Our parents slept downstairs. Their rooms also had amazing views, and we didn't feel bad about our noisy kids through the night. We will definitely come again. There was everything and more than we expected.
Santa the owner was very accommodating and a great host, kept us up to date with everything and made us feel very welcome.

Dankepa was everything we had hoped for, but we knew Herold's Bay and were prepared for the steep inclines and strairs. Perhaps they could warn older people better that there are many stairs involved. Loading luggage in particular can be problematic.

The house inside was wonderful. Comfortable and well appointed. Lovely front deck with amazing view. Outside at the back or entry side of the house we felt it could have been tidier. Lots of stuff lying around the house and it's not very attractive. The parking is a bit small and inconvenient but we used the neighbours' driveway. It was a lovely stay and we would definitely recommend it. The view is incredible.

Thank you for a fantastic vacation at Dankepa. What a great view and lovely beach to walk on. The house is spacious so you're not in each other's space, and it's equipped with everything you'd need. Very good location for a drive to George, Wildernis and Sedgefield. Would definitely stay at Dankepa again.

Enough stairs that can be a challenge but the rest of Dankepa is everything we hoped for. The view was something from another world. Spacious rooms with enough storage space. Clean bathrooms and kitchen, with everything you might need. What made us even more excited was the Bible in every room and enough spiritual reading material for a year! We will definitely be back!
Great location with all the amenities you want. However, what was not to our liking was the cleanliness of the place. After we had to get a worker to clean the place, we also had to buy cleaning supplies since the worker didn't have them. It was also the same worker who cleaned the place before we came. How does she clean the place without cleaning agents and disinfectants? Would definitely want to stay there again, but the owner could pay more attention to the cleanliness of the place.
It was a special experience to stay in Dankepa. Everything one needs is there. It is soul-satisfying to sit on the front deck and look out over the ocean. On the negative side, the numerous stairs are quite a challenge if you have to walk up and down with large suitcases. The kitchen's layout is also a bit strange, but still functional enough. I will definitely stay there again if the chance arises.
If you love the constant roar and rumble of the sea, this is the place.
Thank you very much for allowing us to work out in Dankepa. We couldn't get enough of the amazing view. Must say the stairs with all the luggage were a bit tough, but house is very well and comfortably equipped. Will definitely want to go back again one day.

Grandfather and grandmother were together, they just enjoyed the sea from the balcony. Really had a lovely week at the sea. Really well equipped for whole family, lots of space. Will definitely go again, the stairs were a bit steep for grandpa, but we got the hang of it.
The house is idyllically located with the most beautiful view. Everything we could need was there and we could really just enjoy the holiday in peace with our three teenagers - we would love to go back to the exact same place every year and stay much longer.

Had a great time in Danke-Pa. The house has everything one needs. The facilities were perfect - everyone had their own room and bathroom. The deck was our favorite place to hang out - amazing view, and we were very lucky with the weather for this time of year. Will definitely recommend.
