Comfortable stay. Room was clean and exactly as described. If ever looking for accommodation in the Worcester area, I would highly recommend the accommodation. Their flexibility on check-in and check-out meant that they took a lot of stress off us as a family.

My partner and I spent two nights at De Bergen on our way to Cape Town, where we enjoyed the most wonderful time in the lovely and very underrated gem that is Worcester. I picked De Bergen when booking our accommodation as I planned to visit the Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden while there, and it is located very nearby. Annelize was a very friendly, kind and attentive host, who reached out personally before we arrived. Upon arrival, she surprised us by letting us know that we had received a free upgrade and was on hand to help make us feel at home after the long drive. The room itself was great: neat, clean and stocked with some lovely treats and breakfast goodies. After our warm welcome, the only things that were cold were the complimentary milk, wading pool outside our unit and air conditioner inside – the latter two providing extremely welcome relief from the 39°C heat! I would strongly recommend De Bergen to anyone passing through Worcester. My partner and I will definitely be back. Baie dankie vir alles, Annelize, en hou aan met die goeie werk!
De Bergen was spotlessly clean. The host was friendly and did everything to make our stay very comfortable.
Unfortunately only stayed one night but slept well and relaxed. The sky rail was welcome in the bloody heat. Friendly reception that made you feel at home.

On arrival the lady was not aware of our booking. The room we initially booked was already occupied by other people and we had to go into a small room which adversely affected my fear of injections. There was also no toilet spray in the bathroom. There is a hanging closet in the room, but no storage space for any clothes. There is no place to fill the kettle but in the bathroom, which was a problem as the kettle does not fit under the tap. Space to put down and prepare food is also insufficient. Other than that, everything was great, thank you.

The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast was the best I have had during any of stays in guesthouses or B&B's. One issue is that I did not have a car and chose this location as it was close to the hospital and the Karoo Botanical Garden. The hostess was more than willing to drive me to pick up food, if I needed that, but it turned out I had a friend who helped with that.
