Our stay at De Branders apartment 67 was truly a highlight. There is certainly nothing negative to say.
Very nice stay, there was just no barbecue, but otherwise everything was great.
Location is ideal with teenagers. Everything is walking distance and safe.
Very nice place! Very nice and neat. Would help if there is aircon in the rooms. There is also no one who comes to clean the apartment. Also very nice.
Had a wonderful stay. Perfect place. On the beach, although we had stormy weather, it was very nice.
We are celebrating my wife's birthday and my upcoming retirement in our favorite Hartenbos. Unfortunately, property prices are significantly higher there than in Gauteng and we are going to postpone our permanent migration for the time being. We will surely visit more often.
We arrived 'armed' for the endless load shedding! Rechargeable lamps, gas stove, etc. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the stove's electric plates have been replaced with gas plates since the photos were taken and that there are rechargeable lamps in the apartment. Consider mentioning it in the review. It's definitely a plus and can save guests unnecessary packing.
Communication with the manager was great. Knew exactly about our check in and where to find the key. Parking is close to the apartment. Trolley available to transport luggage. Apartment is clean and tidy inside with everything we needed. Was so nice to be able to just look and look and not get tired of the sea. It's so beautiful. Will definitely book again.
Perfect location and apartment. WiFi did not work, outside patio was very dirty (black, dirty feet not so nice on white tiles, stairs and bedding). I also think that one or 2 basic items are missing. And if you go, maybe take a gas stove or plate with you, then at least you can make a coffee if the power is out.
The apartment is very accessible to the shops and restaurants and is walking distance from everything. The apartment has everything one needs, except access to wifi or basic DStv channels (which is normal for this type of price and star level). Although the apartment was "clean" when we arrived, the cockroaches were frolicking everywhere in the kitchen. The apartment needs a thorough cleaning and this includes porches, floors, carpets etc. in. Furthermore, we had a nice stay and it made our holiday in Hartenbos very pleasant.
No provisions made for loadshedding, not even a day old candle or match, no beach umbrellas available for use, dishes were not clean at all and had to be washed again before use, is quite more usual for the price range.

The unit has a lovely sea view and is very modern and comfortable. We would recommend this to anyone. We had a wonderful stay.
We had to wash cutlery and bowls again before we could use them. We killed a lot of cockroaches. This is probably a problem in all the units, so I would recommend the governing body get professional services to fumigate the entire building. Towel rail is missing in small bathroom. Only one sits above sink, so you can't hang a big towel there. It is difficult to carry heavy bags up and down stairs, especially with the last sharp turn at the top.
Unit is perfectly located in a secure complex and very central. Walking distance from everything. Unit is neat and clean with all the necessary facilities for a nice holiday. We were also very kindly received by the agent and were also very helpful with further requests.
Wonderful view of the sea, fully equipped kitchen, nice couches on the veranda. Will definitely visit again.

Skylight in master bathroom leaking. The kitchen lacks sharp knives! For this type of place (price range) I would think there should be roof fans or aircons. Grill is in very bad condition! Furthermore, our stay was very nice, thank you!
Walking distance from the sea front, restaurants and grocery store.
Had a great time and stay. I personally feel the cleanliness and beauty of the place could be better. I am very bad about beauty and then just last thing: the water pressure of the place is very weak! Also very happy!
