1 thing that stands out about the accommodation is the cleanliness. The rooms and bathrooms are really clean. The beds sleep wonderfully. It is an old house with wooden floors and high ceilings and some of the rooms can work especially well for families or larger groups. Erna who is also very friendly and helpful.
Only stayed one night, everything was clean and tidy. Cute setup.
We struggled to find a shop open at 10:30 pm to buy milk for coffee. Even early morning we struggled to find a shop open.
Good water pressure on showers and clean. Friendly reception. Central and cozy atmosphere. Missed personal 'touch'.
The room lights next to the beds didn't work at all, floors didn't feel very clean, but that's just minor bugs.
We had a nice stay at De Caledon Huis. The guest house is neat, clean and well equipped. The service we received was very good, and the people were very friendly. Would definitely recommend De Caledon House.
It's really a stunning old house that is divided. Most beautiful self-catering accommodation as of yet.

Room had musty smell, we had to struggle to get window open. There was no TV, kettle, coffee or tea making facilities in room. No electric blankets on beds. People on the porch early in the morning so noisy, couldn't sleep! Was definitely not worth R1000, we have slept in many guest houses. Was definitely "The worst we ever stayed in".
