Stunning place. Friendly service. The room was well furnished and amenities great. All downside was the B&B description. B&B means bed and breakfast. My surprise was great after dinner when they told me I had to pay for the breakfast. Maybe you should revise the B&B description.

Yes, but the unit we stayed in was clean, had all the basics, but would have liked more than 2x tea bags and two bags of coffee and two milk cartons for a 16h stay, a hair dryer and wi fi. . Let it be known instead that the housing unit has no additional basic items, then you can take your own coffee, tea and milk with you and hair dryer. Is there perhaps a rating/information system that you can pass on about the basic items that a room/residential unit has, which the majority of travelers are interested in. That the traveler can know what is basic in the overnight/accommodation unit, such as, for example, are there lights during load shedding, is there enough tea/coffee (and how much coffee facilities are there), hair dryer, warm blankets, lounge chair, chair and table to perhaps use a laptop. The current descriptions as given by landlord/owner, such as safe parking, close to facilities, falls short of how the residential unit looks and is misleading.
Disappointed in the room as it needs some upgrading.
Stay was pleasant. Air conditioning was out of whack which was a bit bad.

I love the history of the place. The yellow wood plank floors, the cool interior. The very nice breakfast that we did not expect. And Diesel the Boerboel. What a pleasure to get to play with him this time. We love animals and he was a sweetie pie.
Very nice. All I can suggest is maybe your parking inside wasn't that good. We struggled with our bakkie when driving in and out. If there are too many vehicles, one struggles. But we were so glad we could park inside.
Had a great sleep over and had a useful breakfast before we hit the road again. It was very convenient to have a small fridge and kettle available, as well as the provision of standby lights, flashlights during power outages. Power plugs that all work from one power point were just a little worrying, although all worked well.
Thanks to the owner we arrived late and it was load shedding, she was very helpful and friendly. Guesthouse is very nice, quiet, clean, and safe. Breakfast was also very nice.

We had a great time at De Graaff Manor. Very good service. There are also great places to eat out within walking distance of De Graaff. The only unpleasant part of De Graaff was the smell of the room. It can be easily solved by a candle or a spray. Still a 9/10 experience.

People are nice, turn on TV, but leave is cold. Fireplace, but no wood or blankets in living room where TV is. Breakfast I would have liked to drink water and tea and have a slice of toast with a salt spread like Bovril. Unsolicited, I get a delicious plate with 2 eggs and 2 sausages, which looked delicious, but which I did not ask for or was in the mood for.

Clean and tidy. Would recommend that they at least check the ice trays if someone leaves the room. Arrived late and then just had to have a hot cold drink. There was an annoying dog that was annoying all night. It appeared as if he was indeed from the premises. Not nice to hear when you've driven 874 kilometers. According to my reservation, breakfast was included in my price only to be told on arrival that it was for accommodation only (R880.00) for two people. Furthermore, the sleeping place was excellent.
The room was tidy but the initial reception was not to our liking. We were basically handed the key and were simply shown from the front door where the room door is, as well as the car gate leading to the parking area. The receptionist seemed to have more important work to do. However, what was more frustrating was incorrect information on the website. The "Triple Room 1" page clearly shows that the room has "air conditioning" and that the price includes "B&B". There is no air conditioning in the room and I would not classify a standing fan as air conditioning. We later inquired about breakfast only to find out that breakfast was not included.
We slept in room number 1. There is not even a window in the room. No air conditioning either. So for fresh air you have to leave the door open! Extremely disappointing.
Breakfast could be a little more value for money especially for vegetarians. Also, there was load shedding but no provision was made by the guest house for toast, luckily boiling water was provided so we could make instant coffee.
We were warmly received and the host himself helped to unhook the trailer. Extension cord is provided for camping fridge in car. Host and some of his team also helped when I accidentally locked my car key in trailer.

Beautiful, stately residence with friendly staff who immediately make you feel welcome. Very centrally located, within walking distance of town and delicious restaurants. Secure parking. Stayed overnight at De Graaff Manor on the way to our holiday destination and 2 weeks later, on the way back home, stayed there again. Will definitely check in there again if we stay overnight in Graaff-Reinet.
De Graaff Manor has a lovely atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The guesthouse owner and staff went out of their way to accommodate me after I complained about no water. I did not know that this is a problem caused by loadshedding. They were extremely kind and helpful.
Danel provided us with battery lights to face the load shedding, and informed us well about the times it was scheduled. (We were there during the phase 5 days!).
Diesel, the Boerboel, was my favourite.
Service is good and friendly. Second time here. With load shedding, a small light from Makro or Game in the room will help. The parking lot was also pitch dark when we returned after dinner.
We were grateful for the pool. Graaff-Reinet was a hot 41 degrees.

I would have liked decent Wi-Fi. There was, but incredibly weak and only available for about 10 min. If I compare to other places I would at least have a TV in the room so I could at least watch something online.

The rooms must share bath facilities, 4 rooms, 1 toilet, 1 shower. Not good, especially now with Covid. No bar fridge or TV in the room, only one TV in large living room. Only room outside has its own bathroom. No swimming pool. Breakfast was pleasant.

Beautiful restored old house, clean amenities, perfect location within walking distance to restaurants and most heritage sites. We were only there for one day. The hostess was very helpful, recommended the sites to see, and restaurant to go to - best meal we ever had!
Staff did not wear masks although Eastern Cape is a Covid hotspot - that is really not acceptable at this point.
No aircon in rooms. Very hot, rooms don't have windows that can open? Pool has cover on. Very large dog moving between rooms?
