Contacted us in advance with directions and information. We were very kindly received by Lynette and Christo. It was lovely to stay and visit with them. The farm is beautiful and the unit is nicely furnished. They go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable.
Very friendly reception. Everything was neat, no shortages. There is also a small stove and oven available. Working farm, too nice to hear when the sheep are driven to the fold. Good location for flower viewing. Lots of flowers on the farm as well as in the area. Near Nieuwoudtville with its flowers and waterfall.
Quiet accommodation on a sheep farm. The hostess is very helpful with advice and help. Beautiful little garden made in front of guest entrance and a nice braai where you can watch the sunset. Everything you need has been made available with care. Nicest bedding.
Well appointed overnight room on a working sheep farm on the Cape route to the Kgalagadi. Safe environment. Lynette is a very helpful and caring hostess. We felt very much at home.
What a privilege to be able to spend the night on a working farm, the accommodation is beautiful and the host and hostess went out of their way to make it enjoyable for us. We will definitely go back again. Also close to several towns and places to see flowers.
We had a wonderful stay. Everything you need was available in the room. We were especially grateful to have full DSTV channels. The host parents were very friendly and devoted believers with whom we could have a nice chat. We arrived in rainy weather and the 3.4 km farm road (dirt) was very slippery and our car skidded a lot. The host parents helped us by driving behind us to make sure we didn't get stuck or slide off the road. It was very reassuring. The guest farm is a bit far (15 km) from Vanehynsdorp and we had to drive 15 km to town and back again to get to a restaurant. All in all, our stay was very lovely.
