Lee-jo is very helpful. Friendly and very professional. Breakfast was very tasty and good variety. The environment is very beautiful and good for photography. The cottage is well equipped and the fireplace makes it very homely and pleasant.
Great location! I would definitely recommend! Waygu steaks are very pricey, but there are other meals, and self-catering is available! Great experience!

We enjoyed our short stay very much. The house was very well equipped and cosy with lots of special little touches. After a long day the complimentary bottle of wine and bucket of ice we found in our fridge was very much appreciated. Martin and his wife are very friendly and hospitable and we LOVED their dogs and cat that came to visit. We will definitely stay at De Kombuys again and will recommend it highly to anyone looking for accommodation in Oudtshoorn!
Worked very well as an overnight stop to visit the Kango Caves and an ostrich farm. Manina's salads and breakfast were delicious. The fridge was just a little small to keep everything cool in the sweltering Oudtshoorn. A nice large canopy in front of the houses, at the braai area and comfortable outdoor chairs will be a great asset for the delicious braai next to the vineyards.

We got wonderfully lost among the vineyards and terribly beautiful world of the little karoo at De Kombuys. Blessed! I haven't rested and laughed and visited so well in a long time. Definitely going to try it out in the winter too!
Fantastic! There were no shortages. The host and wife were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very well equipped and quality coffee is provided. It's nice and quiet on the farm, but close enough to other activities. It is a working farm but you can enjoy walking around there and the dog "Seagull" likes to walk with you. The nice fresh air makes you feel human again. If I ever stay in that area again it will definitely be at the top of my list to choose from.
Perfect place to recharge your soul. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful location with a view of the vineyards and mountains - and you don't even have to get out of bed to appreciate it. The owners' friendly hospitality exceeded our expectations and made us feel very welcome. Feel free to try their boerewors - it might just be the best in the country. We will definitely make a visit there again when we visit Oudtshoorn again.

Peaceful, quiet, away from the hustle and bustle and yet close enough to Oudtshoorn to attend the Klein Karoo Klassique Fees. Stay was comfortable with lovely mattress and the down duvet was a bonus. Karoo stargazing was amazing! We were privileged to receive a visit from the friendly dog, cat and domestic macaw. Everything is food for the soul.
We really enjoyed our time here. Very friendly and helpful service.
No radio or TV or hairdryer, furthermore they make up with all other extras and very good service!
