We stayed in Room 1 for 2 nights. Was very kindly received by Lucky. Hostess went out of her way to make things comfortable for us. I explained in advance that I needed to iron an item of clothing - she made sure there was an ironing board and iron in our room for our use. The guest house creates a very peaceful atmosphere. Large shower (rain shower). Top quality linen. Delicious breakfast included in the price.
As usual it was nice to be able to stay there again, it is our favorite place in Bela Bela.
It was a very pleasant stay. Nice and quiet.
What a beautiful gem of a place. Silver clean, crisp soft bedding. We were there for the son's rugby tour in the area and after a long day that shower and bed were lovely. Just a pity we missed the breakfast because we were out so early in the morning.

Our stay was nice, quiet and only a few minutes away from Warmbaths (Forever resort). Lucky was the lady who assisted us, and she was amazing. She is friendly, extremely helpful and very understanding. The breakfast was lovely. We have booked here a few times. I would recommend them.

De Kunst Huisje Gastehuis is the safest and clean accommodation to stay in. I will always book if I go to Bela Bela and can recommend it to anyone.
The owner recommended a beautiful lunch spot for us and we absolutely had no regrets! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!
During load shedding only LED lights. No other facilities then available.
We were only there one night. Management has due to our circumstances agreed that we could pick up the keys already at 09:00 in the morning and only come to the guest house late in the evening. It was really good of them to accommodate us like that.

We would like to request that they look at backup power due to loadshedding being an on going problem. The rooms get very hot when there is no power for aircons or fans.
Warn visitors when loadshedding. Every room should have an emergency lamp. I had to take out my contact lenses in the pitch dark. Would like a key for the back door, then you don't have to walk all the way outside to the front door. I have difficulty walking and then the extra steps in the dark are quite bad.

I have enjoyed my stay and it's my second time staying there. Was there in 2018 so when I visited Limpopo I knew it was the perfect place to stay at. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming, the breakfast is just delicious, the rooms are clean and it's very quiet and peaceful.

The room was a bit cramped, but it depends on how you approach it to look at it on the web page. Rinie and her team are very hospitable and they make you feel at ease. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, especially the sandwich and you have several options to choose what you want to eat during breakfast. The price is not too expensive just comfortable for overnight purpose. I would recommend it, thank you very much for our nice stay. Greetings French.

Acceptable venue if there is nowhere else possible. The wooden floors are very noisy if guests from other rooms come back late at night. It was very noisy with kids running up and down the wooden floors late at night , with adults stomping around like no one else was there. We used two rooms 1 and 5. In addition : room 5 has wooden floorboards that are lifting that make opening the fridge door difficult. The next door neighbour dogs also barked alot through the night. Breakfast : there was no indication whether a warm breakfast was going to be served , or what it would consist of. There was cereal placed out. With no warm milk available. The woman who cooked breakfast (presumably the manageress ?) ignored us and pretended we didn't exist. We smelt something being cooked and it eventually was plonked down in front of us. I don't enjoy paying top dollar to be ignored and treated like I don't exist.
Unfriendly and unhelpful receptionist. No battery or generator backup. No lighting in the common area during Loadshedding.

We had the best weekend at the beautiful guest house! There is a beautiful detail to be seen around every corner. The service was friendly and fantastic, the breakfast delicious and the attractions of the area just around the corner. Our small children had a lot of fun playing in the large garden and Warmbad Oord was a stone's throw from us, so it was very easy to get the children to and fro. We will be back!

The decor was very artfully done, breakfast was good, staff very friendly and accommodating and cleanliness was good. A good stay and we will be interested in returning if we are in the area again. Just one suggestion, bedroom 2 to have thicker curtains. But otherwise, nice and friendly stay with a unique atmosphere.
It was very private and relaxing. If you may talk to places of entertainment nearby to have packages because some of us know little about Bela Bela.
The owner was very accommodating and friendly.
