This is an old thatched farmhouse that has been restored and converted into 4 en-suite bedroom cottages. There are 2 bedrooms furnished with queen-size beds. The third bedroom contains a double bed, and the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. All bedding, bath towels and swimming towels are provided. All bathrooms are fitted with showers.
The cottage comprises an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery as well as a dishwasher. In the living area is a large indoor braai. Braai wood is provided.
The living area opens up onto a lovely patio area which has outdoor patio furniture. The back patio leads to the swimming pool where guests can enjoy great views over the orchards and mountains.
Please note that the cottage is located on a working farm and there are vehicles that will pass by during the high season from October to April.
Attractions in the area include Matroosberg Nature Reserve, Inverdoorn Game Reserve, Kagga Kamma Private Game Reserve or Ceres zip slide tours.

I would suggest the description of the pool should say plunge pool. The photos make it look much bigger than it is. We were not able to use the pool as the weather was mostly overcast. We look forward to using the plunge pool if we visit again in warmer weather. It was wonderful to have all the en-suite bathrooms. The indoor fireplace/ braai was used every night and was much appreciated. I would like to suggest a floor lamp in this area to give a bit of extra lighting in the area. We played games every night around the coffee table and needed a bit more light. The views of the mountains were breathtaking. I could sit on both the back and front patios for hours.
Fire place is huge and great. No shortage of firewood so fantastic in winter.
Wonderful, friendly service from Hanlie even prior to arrival, which was consistent throughout. She was always willing to assist. Thank you to the whole team, cleaning services and pool guy included. A busy farm but it did not detract from the surrounding beauty. We all loved the cottage as a whole. Thank you.
