Guests can enjoy a delicious wholesome breakfast served in the thatched lapa overlooking the swimming pool area, or delight in South African braai flavours combined with warm home-made bread and scrumptious salads; followed by De Old Drift after-dinner liqueur under the stars.
Guests have the option to hop on a guided tour to Addo Elephant Park or the neighbouring game reserves to view the gentle giants of Addo. There are also guided tours in the Addo Park on an open-top vehicle, on request. Addo is a wonderful destination for game viewing, hiking, bird watching and simply appreciating the natural surrounds of the bushveld and farm life in the area.

We enjoyed the weekend away so much. Our 2-year-old daughter enjoyed herself with the 2 dogs, she also enjoyed the cattle very much of course. The meal was very tasty and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff exceptional. We will definitely come again!
The staff was very friendly.
We had a great time, barbecued and after a day of 42 degrees in the Elephant Park, we cooled down in the pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a nice weekend on the farm, with a very luxurious atmosphere. I would recommend it anytime.
There were two very cute dogs that kept coming to lie down with us. It was a wonderful experience.
This is more like a family farm stay lodge. Close proximity to Addo. Most direct route from PE is a 35 km, very bumpy tar road. Lots of outdoor activities for children. Our unit was self-catering and was very nice. The lodge is on a working farm inside an electric fence. Heavy burglar proofing further suggested that it's not the best of areas. Everything was very neat but I suppose it lacked the holiday magic. Our shower floor was oily and the drain blocked. Also, the cold water at the basin was not working. The frying pan in the kitchen literally looked like a car drove over it. Fortunately, we've learned to take some of our own utensils even when visiting Self-Catering. One would expect an expensive place like this to give a bit more attention to these details. All in all not bad though. Pleasant stay. Friendly staff.
The area is well located where there is no disturbance and one can just relax and enjoy the time.
Kids loved the pool and playground the cottage was very comfortable.

We slept over after a visit to Addo. It was very hot and our air conditioning in both rooms was not working.

De De Old Drift B&B was pleasant and clean. Staff were very helpful. However found meals to be very expensive.

Ideal accommodation near the Addo Elephant Park with everything you need. The people who work there are wonderful and you feel very welcome. Only downside is the unit was incredibly cold. Got no sun and our child got sick so didn't want to use the air conditioning for heat. I would suggest wall heaters.

We initially booked for two nights and then stayed an extra night. Very friendly and helpful reception. The Garden Cottage we stayed in is very, very modern, as well as extremely clean and tidy. The gardens are well maintained and very beautiful. Ideal and very peaceful accommodation on a working citrus farm very close to Addo Olifant Park as well as other places and things to see and do. Would highly recommend to others and stay here again myself when I'm in the area again. There is a restaurant on site, but we preferred to have a barbecue every night.
