The room was neat, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and received excellent service.
I would recommend De Oude Kothuis anytime.

Very pleasant, the facilities are perfect for a weekend getaway.
The place can be cleaned up a little more because there are cobwebs in some of the crevices, but I think that it's because the place is also old, can do with an upgrade. My entire family has chronic sinusitis and we struggled a little when we were in the house. Perhaps the products used were too strong. Other than that, the place is very nice.
Comfortably furnished for short term stays.
Friendly people, feeling wonderfully at home and at the same time private. The host and wife really went out of their way to meet our needs. It was short. Will definitely visit longer next time.

Dam on farm is a bit empty, understandable with the little rain, stil has two fish and a water turtle. Accommodation location? More than enough space, very clean. Braai facility? More than enough. Calmness? 100%.
It's a great place to stay, very comfortable with a peaceful atmosphere. A great place for a getaway from the busy and stressful city life. Close to the Hartbeespoort Dam and surrounding areas where there's things to do.
Our 4 friends had a great time at this peaceful cottage. The service was excellent, beds comfortable and everything in the unit we needed. The stoep was lovely to hang out on. We will definitely go again.

Our group had a lovely stay at De Oude Kothuis and were pleasantly surprised. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful. The cottage's porch was probably the highlight of our trip and even better than our trips to interesting places in the area. The location is wonderfully peaceful, and the animal life we could see right from the porch was surprising. We definitely recommend the place.
Hosts are very friendly. Had a great time and slept on the peaceful, quiet farm. Apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped.
