We stayed in house 7. It has everything we expected and more. The house is spacious with three comfortable rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a large TV room. There is plenty of space to hang out inside and outside on the stoep or at the braai. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. This is very good value for money. We will definitely stay at De Oude Stoor again if we are in the area again.

Initially, I believed I had booked two separate rooms with two bathrooms. However, it turned out to be a bed on a couch in the living room. As a result, we arranged for another room with the owner of the guesthouse. Regarding the message from the booking, it states: "Yes, this family unit 3 has two bedrooms, both with double beds and shower en suites." Could you please clarify what I have booked and paid for?
It was the first time I used LekkeSlaap, but it certainly won't be the last. I want to thank Tazzlyn for giving me the options to choose from. She put in so much effort. And Chandre who confirmed our stay and helped me, thank you very much. Then I also want to thank Jodrie, she was amazing. She received us with so much love, it didn't even feel like we were on vacation, it felt like home. The living area we used was so nice and tidy, but the icing on the cake was the aircon, it was exactly what we needed after our long drive out of the Western Cape. And it's so close to the National Park with the breathtaking waterfall and beautiful garden. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend De Oude Stoor Gastehuis.
De Oude Stoor Gastehuis was very enjoyable to stay at. Equipped with everything you need. The guest house is on the most beautiful farm. The owners and receptionist are very friendly.

The unit was neat, clean and comfortable. Just a shame that the owner's family (children) were hanging out and making noise until the early hours of the morning, racing up and down on a motorbike.

But saw what we came for, namely the Augrabies falls in flood. Winter time probably lower temperatures. Was difficult with loadshedding.
The manageress was so accommodating as we arrived later then planned. She had put the air-conditioning on so we walked into a pleasurable coolness. She also shared a lot of info about things to see and do in the area. A great stay.
We stayed in unit 3 with 2 bedrooms each with queen size bed and its own bathroom. It had a reasonably equipped kitchen (though small), dining room with inside braai, lounge, and dining table on the covered patio with a view to the vineyard. We stayed there over a weekend so no farm activities made it a peaceful getaway. We enjoyed it.

Stay was very nice and had everything needed. The hostess even put a gas stove there, so we could boil water for coffee during load shedding. It was just a shame the generator for the farmhouse was very close to the guests' accommodation.

Our stay at De Oude Stoor contributed to a lovely break to see the Augrabian Valles in flood. The family unit had everything we needed for our stay, very tidy and equipped with everything we needed. The best part was being able to have a quiet barbecue on the grass in front of the unit with the grape arbor as our view and to experience the farm environment. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. It was a really nice experience.

Apart from the friendly reception and the cleanliness of the units, the surroundings and the view are an absolute bonus. The setting, a working grape farm, creates a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful sunsets. The Oude Stoor is recommended.

I was initially hesitant to book the place, the name put me off "store". But other places were full and so we booked De Oude Stoor Gastehuis. And weren't we impressed and surprised! Rene received us extremely kindly. The place was very clean and tidy. We were in number 3 which consists of two rooms, each with its own bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and indoor braai room. You can also sit outside on the veranda. There is enough space for children to play outside on the grass. I can really recommend the place and will stay there again

The guest house has every possible item to make your stay comfortable. Self care at its best. Barbeque in the late afternoon, outside on cool lawns, or relax on the porch and watch the sunset. Very highly recommended.
We stayed in a house which is private and it's fully equipped which is very ideal for a family. The summer heat was also on the farm, but the house, rooms and even built-in braai have air conditioning which makes it all worth it. The convenience of being at the Augrabies Valle within 10 minutes was also nice.

Place is nice and clean, think the manager Reney is their biggest asset right now, she made us feel welcome from the start, I think the owner shouldn't stay so close to the guests, as she complained about the music which was really not so loud, but if you want a quiet place to relax these is the place, will highly recommend De Oude Stoor Gastehuis, I am going back without the music next time, really a love place.

It was really nice to pack up after such a long journey at a clean and tidy place. Everything you need is there. It is safe for the children to play and run around outside. The houses are also not so close to each other that you are afraid to speak or laugh loudly. You won't disturb the other guests. It was really very nice.
